Most affordable college for girls

The teachers try to complete the syllabus on time. The teaching methods are decent but sometimes due to shortage of time it is not feasible to study the entire syllabus in details which leads to skipping of topics in class. Exams in the Physics department is the most frequent thing. Internal exams occur atleast twice a semester, which gives you a time to improve your marks if you don't do well on the first one and it is compulsory for all to attend. However, the recruitment of teachers should be prioritsed at the moment so that all the topics could be handled efficiently and the burden of completing syllabus dilutes from a particular teacher.

Women's college, Agartala provides free education for girls. The education for girls in the government degree colleges of the state is completely funded by the state government. Nevertheless, we need to pay the examination fees to the Tripura University for conducting our exams, which is ?630 for subjects with practical and ?520 for subjects without practical. Before that, we need to pay ?320 as admission fees which includes the library charges and all other fees for fests and all. I would say, it is one of the most affordable college to get the graduation degree

This is an area where the college lacks. We received no fresher party, the batch before us recieved none. There was a freshers party of our next batch where only they were invited and no other batches were allowed as the event was sponsored by the government as no amount of money is allowed to be collected from the students. However, we get to organise departmental fest in our Physics department. We celebrated "Confianza" which was a farewell party to our seniors combined with the teachers day celebration. We celebrate teachers day every year in every individual department. Basanta utsav and Rabindra jayanti is also celebrated in the college. There exists NSS and student council but no other social clubs exist in the college.

At our time, the admission process occurred completely online . We needed to apply our preferences from all the government college under both Tripura University and MBB University. According to the marks obtained in class 12, the merit list was prepared. After getting the name in the first merit list, an email was sent to me which requested me to pay the admission fees which was ?320, which included all the miscellaneous fees like library charges etc. However, now on the merit list is prepared based on the CUET scores. If you don't get your name on any of the merit lists you can visit the college and apply for spot round admission.

In our Physics department, the professors are very helpful and good at teaching. But there are only 3 permanent professors in our department and rest are guest lecturers. As the permanent teachers get engaged in various academic activities and official works, it is extremely hard for them to attend the classes. Most of the professors of the science department are ordered to carry out the official works and therefore, the classes are assigned to the guest lecturers. The teachers of Physics department are eagerly helpful. They will provide all the study materials and books if you request them to for free. Overall, the teachers are really good.
