Course Curriculum Overview

I m from mechanical and i have choosen it my self interest because nowdays AI is intering in the market nai ruin the opportunity in tech field. Here paper is difficult and also taken exam with strict rule.

Here in third year copanies provide intership to the who is calable and able to get it . Intership plays major role in placement and here college provide this opportunity. Maximum student got selected for intern.

Placement Experience

As its national institute of technology here placement rate is outstanding, highest packege 83 lakh, avg package 15 lakh almost 95 percent student got placed. every year . In my branch avg package is nearly 11.5 lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

Here whose income more than 5 lakh have to pay full fee about 2.25 lakh per year.whose income is between 1 to 5 lakh got fee wavier of 2/3 of total institute fee.Below 1lalh income has no need to pay institute fee.

Here i got what i expected digital campus best infrastructure, electricity. all the classroom have ac, projector.so we can easily understand the thing using google.her about 10 technical team for improving skill.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel we all students are happy because we all are enjoying the best infrastructure provided by the college.good electricity cleaned washroom and 24 hr pure water.we don't feel any diturbance from outside

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

To take admission in this institute you have to crack jee main and on basis of your rank you will get branch. You can get seat by jossa counslling. jee exam syllabus is from 11th 12th maths physics and chemiatry ..need 2 yr to prepare for this exam.

Interview Experience

No i haven't face any group discussion and gd but i faced interview for inducted in technical team of nit jamshedpur and not given jee exam and cracked it so that i can get admission in mechanical engineering.

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
