Remarks

College efforts are visible and viable. Benefits of that can be reached according to the students take on it. Opportunities are there but have to track them. The college premises is not so huge but that doesn't mean college doesn't do much. College management is also very efficient and effective in doing their best.

Entrance Preview

I scored 86% marks in +2 and couldn't get admission in BCom(H) in DU so next best option after DU was IPU. I scored 8000 ranks in the IPU CET and got RDIAS in the spot councilling. In the spot councilling I had an option between RDIAS, Technia, and many others.but I felt RDIAS was a better option so I choose RDIAS amongst them as Rukmini is a brand.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

BBA at RDIAS was a very good course as it not only included studies and exams but also 6 field visits (each in every semester) and compulsory internship in the second year so as to provide industrial exposure to the students. The college also provided an online portal which helped students to get notes and PPT's on all the topics of the syllabus. Hence the curriculum became easy and interesting for us.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college organizes internship fare for both BBA and MBA students. The stipend here can vary from zero to 7000. The college generally has more marketing companies than finance HR and other verticals.

Placement Experience

3

Placement and job opportunities are average. The average package for BBA is 3 lpa and for MBA is 3.5 lpa. There is not much of a difference between the MBA and BBA packages. The companies are either startups which yet need to establish or mass recruiter for sales and other staff for banks and other institutions.

College Events

3.5

The college tries to conduct many events. But one of the most important event is the annual cultural annual fest other than the other co-curricular activities. The fest is called RAZZMATAZZ. It is generally conducted in the second week of March. Since the college premises is not huge, it is celebrated in Rukmini public school which is nearby to the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are a little expensive than the other IPU colleges such as VIPS , Technia, JIMS, Agresen etc. But the difference is also not much. Such as the bba fees for VIPS is 79000 p.a. and RDIAS has 85000 p.a. in the first year. Then in the second year, it's about 65000 for VIPs and 70000 p.a. for RDIAS.

Fees and Financial Aid

No college doesn't provide loan facility to students as the fees are not in lacs of rupees. An average middle-class student can afford the fees of any IPU college as IPU is of Delhi government. In the name of scholarship, students get RS. 1000 cheque from the University if a student tops in a particular subject.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is not so rocking as a student wants it to be after his school life. And there are some restrictions for attendance and discipline in the college. But it was fun in its own way. The college has 2 computer labs and 2 libraries with an ample amount of books of interest. There are also many extracurricular activities in which students can take part. Every year sports day is organized in Rukmini Devi public school. Many departmental activities are also undertaken.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The college don't provide hostel facility and mess food. But the college has a canteen where lunch and snacks are available. The prices in the canteen are almost same as there are in the other canteens. But the food is not hygenic. The packed food is okay but the other things are not up to the mark. Students go there to have lunch.

Alumni/Alumna

The aluminum network is totally based on the reach of the individual and their interactions with their seniors. It depends on the students to students. But having said that yes it did help the students to tackle some tricky situations.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is very simple. Each semester has two exams internals and externals. Internals are generally after a period of month or two within the start of the semester and the externals are in December and May. The internals is for 25 marks and externals are of 75 marks. The internals is conducted in the college and externals are conducted at different GGSIPU college.

Admission

I scored 8000 rank in the IPU CET and got RDIAS in the spot councilling. In the spot councilling I had a option between RDIAS, Technia and many others...but I felt RDIAS was a better option so I choosed RDIAS amongst them as Rukmini is a brand. And actually yes I was right as the quality of education was much better than the others.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are good. Each faculty tries their best effort to guide the students. But the regular shuffling of the faculties it becomes difficult sometimes to cope up. But overall faculties are good. The faculty also focuses on teaching through smart classes i.e slides on the projector. Overall faculty experience is good.
