Course Curriculum Overview
My decision was building an ai based applications in real life, so that lead me to take this course. The curriculum contains many kinds of labs that helps to build the software applications, business knowledge, and this creates an environment and real world applications with the support of academics. The course curriculum includes writing records, observations, and assignments by many lecturers and has to be submitted on time which creates a burden to the student. This can be improved. The students(personally I) have enough time to complete the syllabus and get good grades. On the semister exam dates, each exam has atleast one day gap to prepare for the exam. There is no difficulty to pass the exam and with the difficulty level is easy.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Tution fee is regular for every student of 120000 rupees and has a fee reimbursement/ scholarship of 35000 rupees per year for the students came through entrance exam. My tution fee is 1,20,000(one lakh twenty thousand) per year and came through management. My complete cost of education fee, sevices fee and other compulsory charges is less than 10 lakhs. There is scholarships or fee reimbursement of 35000 rupees for students if the student is regular to the college. I have undertaken the event Under25 this year as a volunteer.
Campus Life
There is a major festival called Brumous held in the campus and held once a year where all the members from every branch joins the event and participate joyfully. This festival is typically held at the end of december. There is wide range of varieties of books present in the library and has one major journal who is available in the library. Projectors are provided in every classroom to enhance the classes digitally. Sports and extracurricular activities are perfectly fine which are offered on the campus. There is a club called GDSC which promotes academic for the students which impact their well being.
Admission
A student is eligible for gurunanak college if attains the score of 75 percent of secondary education and qualifies the primary education for the management seat. The student is alloted to the college through TS entrance exam. The application forms, fee structure and application dates will be discussed in the administration block(pink building). The seat allotment through reservation is not available in the college, but it is helpful in TS Entrance exam. There are 4 years for BTech course and each year contains two semisters. A semister has a period of 6 months(including holidays,events,etc.). There is enough time to prepare for the exams and can easily get passed based on the difficulty level. During admission process, the administrator or councillor will not be handy and make the admission delay. So the student/parent should be cooperative during the admission session.
