Likes

The college has clubs related to coding known as LOL.
The college organises events which is participated by students.
Campus life is good and faculty also helps the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus needs to be updated and improved.
Syllabus should more focus on practical knowledge.
It should not only have core subjects but also subjects essential for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

The overall course curriculum is average. The course curriculum can be improved. The course curriculum needs to include more practicals as well as more focus on practicals rather than lectures. Hence, it should be improved.

Internships Opportunities

Currently I am not pursuing any internships. The stipend offered to seniors was 10k/month. This internship was made available through the college placements. I am currently working on an IOT based project as mini project submission.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from 6th semester. The average package offered by companies to CSE department is 6 lakh rupees. 90% of students are placed in the college. I plan to MS in AI after completion of my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college supports various scholarships. It also provides the governmental scholarship. The scholarship offers 50% reduction pn tuition fee on tuition fees. Central government supported scholarship are also provided.

Campus Life

The overall experience with campus life is very good. The college focuses on various social aspects and organises various events yearly. LOL club is the club which is related with the coding and there is also a ISTE club.

Admission

It was very good. I have attempted the MHT-CET and JEE entrance examinations. The cutoff of the MHT-CET examination was 90% and JEE examinations was 83%. The overall process was very good. The college has 50% Jain minority.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.
