I was interested in bachelor of business administration and opted for the same the strength of my class is 110 still our teachers and faculty member manage our class very well . Areas for improvement would be inclusion of different field activities and practical knowledge

Our universities is located in beautiful mountains and spread over a large area . The infrastructure is quite good our campus provides all basic facilities like hostel , ground, canteen, grocery items.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities include washrooms, drinking water , mess facility, gym, library , badminton play area . Students can avail hostels or near by students are day scholars, some students who didn't get hostels live in PGs.

Admission

Admission can be done through CUET entrance exam or 12th class merit based . My name came in the merit list as i secured 86% in 12 standard Admission forms and other details related to universitie are available on the website of Smvdu .

IIM Jammu is a spring breaker!

Placement Experience:

Till we are doing BBA there are no placements but from 4th year we are posted directly for MBA and then the placement eligibility starts. Average is between 10-15 lakhs and many prominent industries which we have heard of have started coming to IIM Jammu. Also, placements record were nearly 96% at IIM Jammu.

Spmr college: a brief review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked bba because I've an inclination towards business and I want to start my own. The curriculum is not very deep but is enough for you to be prepared for real life and helps you to get job. They mainly make you learn management accounting, stats, operations, crm, etc Curriculum can be more practical in nature rather than theoretical. You will be having your mid sem after 1 month of college and will be having end sem after 4 months of semester. Exams are not that difficult but the marking might be.

Miet Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

You get placement in miet. Don't expect high package in jammu Companys like hdfc icici asian paints aakash institute, bajaj finance, Reliance, TCL comes in college. But you need good marks to be eligible for college placement minimum 75% required but I am not sure

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students. I don't get any rejection from any other colleges....Read More
