Likes

I liked overall atmosphere with friends involving classes, nice Infrastructure, sports facilities etc..
Teaching facilities were also very good and the course plan is also very nice
Clubs and societies involved were also very active.

Dislikes

Campus is very far from city, no good restaurants near.
There were no proper senior junior interactions.
There were no efficient grounds for sports like cricket

Course Curriculum Overview

I like to improve my cognitive abilities and critical thinking and logical thinking, that's why I took computer science and engineering as my course which heavily focuses on this aspects. The projects I dealt in my initial years made me to face the real world applications

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Oracle, Accenture, iambesideyou provides various internship opportunities, involving stipend one lakh per month for period of 2-3 months, the main focus on being able to code properly and testing through DSA and web development.

Placement Experience

Placements were okay for our branch, upto ninety percent of the students will generally be placed in various companies that come for campus placements, from 7th semester onwards students were eligible for placement. Companies visited were like Oracle, de shaw, brane , Zomato etc.. Offers were like on average one company will take upto 10 members from the branch

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah there are scholarships and financial assistance like fee remission where if the annual salary of the guardian involved or parent have less than 100000 the fee structure would be reduced to one third of the fee paid.

Campus Life

Yeah there are fests like wissenaire, Esummit, alma fiesta which focuses on technical cultural and entrepreneurial aspects of the students, the events make sure that the participants will be aware of the aspects that are involved

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is decent they provide bed, table, chair and almariah for storing clothes and other items. Food quality was ok which mainly focuses on the overall diet and involving the overall growth, health.

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

I mainly took two entrance exams to get into Indian Institute of technology Bhubaneswar, the first one is JEE mains and the other one is JEE advanced. Mains cutoff is 50% of the marks and for the other is top 10,000 ranks

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices. To get into an IIT you first need to clear JEE mains cutoff and then clear JEE advance.
