There are various things I like faculty are very supportive
College have very positive point of view towards sports they continually work on improving it.

Dislikes

The size of campus is small. You don’t have many space to move around
The parking in the college is very small. As all the students are day scholar.

Course Curriculum Overview

I will rate 8 out of 10 to my course. The college have various facilities related to my course they have well maintained labs and provide proper facilities. College also have special PLC lab sponsored by Mitsubishi Electric.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for the 1 sem is around 50000 and if calculate fee for the whole course it will cost around 4500000 including other expenses. You will also get scholarship around 5000 or 10000 if u have sports or other activities cetifiacate.

Campus Life

The campus life is not so good and not so bad. All the students are from Jammu and Kashmir. There are no students from other state so you can't get good exposure but there are some faculty from other states. Unfortunately there are no clubs but faculty is working on it.

Admission

The admission process for the college is very simple u can get the admission in college directly by applying in it and you can also get the admission by entrance exam JK CET. After qualifying the exam u can get admission easily.

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.

Is Nit Srinagar worth it?

Placement Experience:

Yes my college offers placements for each branch students becomes eligible after sixth semester if they doent have any active supply in there course and very company have their own criteria to make eligble to the student for placements like cgpa etc. companies visited in civil was L&T, Tata steel, Jsw, Afcon etc and the average package was 6 lakh every company brought diffrent no. of offers average was 5 in civil highest package got to mine class crc of 1300000 that was a psu and the percentage of students got placed was 10% only. mine plans after was to prepare for goverments exams.

There are in campus placements in our university. Students become eligible for the same from 7th semester. Placement Experience:

Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Admission:

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.
