Very nice sports facilities with 5 Basket ball courts , 1 football court,1 hokey court , 1 cricket ground etc..
Very Clean and well maintained single occcupancy rooms, 5 hostels (3boys, 2 girls)

Dislikes

The campus is abit far from the city , it takes 30 to 45 min to reach to Bhubaneswar

I am intrested in electrical engineering so i joined this course. With the help of the lectures taught by our professors and Labs conducted by them we will prepared for real world applications exams will be twice a semester

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 118000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee you need to pay for 4 years btech is Rs.10,79,460/- which is approximately equally divided among all the 8 semesters. SC/ST people will get 100% fee waiver and if anual income is <1lac then 100% remission and if it is between 1 and 5 lacs you will get 2/3 fee refund

we have 4 anual fests , they are , WISSENAIRE - The anual technomanagement fest , Esummit - the entrepreneurship summit , AlmaFiesta - The cultural fest , Ashwameda - The Sports Fest . There are many magazines , Course books , Novels and many more books avilable in our Library

Admission

Eligibility will be based on the course you opt for For Btech You need to clear JEE mains and advance , for MTech you need to clear GATE All the details related to the admission can be found in the JOSSA website at the time of councilling Yes there will be reservation Entrance exam JEE mains will be twice every year and if you clear that you need to write JEE advance which will be once a year. The exam JEE advance is the second most difficult exam in india after UPSC You need to be very strong in Maths , Physics , Chemistry

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

My college experience

I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices. To get into an IIT you first need to clear JEE mains cutoff and then clear JEE advance.
