Friends... people who can never be compared with anyone
Hostels..too huge and cleanly.Facilities are quite good.
New auditorium...with world class infrastructure

Facilities..not so good compared to manh other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

Yeah,I opted electrical engineering only for the preference during placements and also I can give attempts for government jobs in this specific field.Skill development must be focused rather than just the curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

We have plenty of on campus internship opportunities.But from last year there is decline in number of companies due to recession.Our college also provides summer internships which are core based and will be under a professor.

Placement Experience

Placements are not as what I have expected to be.But these are quite decent with an average package of around 15lpa.Our major placement season is during December month of the 7th semester.many get placed every year

Fees and Financial Aid

There exist two types of fee One is tuition fee and another is mess fee.Tuition fee is 1 lakh +some charges(15000)and mess fee is 18000 per semester.There also exist many scholarships which help students.

Campus Life

There are many clubs within our college.There exists a student body called Gymkhana under which all these clubs are present.These help in healthy interactions with seniors and helps in upskillinh ourselves.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are quite clearly and huge.There are 5 hostels in our college.3 for boys with 800 capacity each and 2 for girls.There are also quarters for faculty and staff.We have many facilities in our rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

We need qualify in both jee mains and advanced exams.Based on the rankings in the examination we can opt different colleges among the college's available in the process.There are advantages based on reservation also

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

My College Life.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

My college experience

I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices. To get into an IIT you first need to clear JEE mains cutoff and then clear JEE advance.
