Likes

The campus has building which has historical place in the society which back to 1920's.
It has very much Greenery and lawns in campus .
It has the Asia's biggest library, maulana azad library.

Dislikes

It has lack of hygienic water availability.
The campus has a lot of fust due to lawns etc
It has some old structures which drip in rainy seasons .

The course is very good covering all the aspects of mass communication with practical as well as theocratical knowledge in different fields of mass media . As mass communication is a leading program it needs knowledge of editing mixing and producing content

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Placement Experience

The campus placements are annually done with around 10-20 percent of the people participating and the workshops regarding different aspects of the different fields, the campus also has a training and placement office which helps students accordingly.

Fees and Financial Aid

The government scholarships are applicable in this course depending on the family income of the candidate, Uttar Pradesh and Central government scholarships are there. Amount depends on the course fee that is around 8000 for the first year and around 4 for the second.

Campus Life

There are many cultural education clubs which requires participation through filling a form , swiming, horse riding, cricket, basketball etc. students run many social groups with different aspects and interests .

Admission

The exam was based on entrance pattern , had two sections one for 40 marks which was mcq based and another for 60 marks which was subjective in nature. The application forms are available yearly on amu controllerexams.com . The reservation are given to the obs sc and st categories too. The period of exams is of 2 hours.

Placement Experience:

The course i did from the college does not require placements. But yes, in other courses like MBA, BCOM,ENGINEERING, BBA etc. campus placements happen and you do get good placements in good companies. The packages are not below 300000-400000 lakhs After my degree, I am currently working as a content writer as per my skills. i have worked with international and national businesses.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). Moreover , lot of opportunities are also possible in foreign countries too , and we are also eligible for Assistant professor post (if any).
