Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum for all the NMIMS Campuses is the same, as it comes under One MBA program, we have live simulation classes and guests, as speakers, we also have talks and confluences, that give us insights about the market trend and it gives us a chance to interact with them. The exams are divided into 3 trimesters, with 6-8 subjects in each trim, the subjects have different weightage, in the 3rd trim, we can choose 1 specialization subject, after which we need to choose our major and minors
Internships Opportunities
we had a lot of companies for internships and live projects, like HSBC, Nephroplus, Varity, etc There were various job roles offered, like financial managers, CROs, etc i would be able to get a better understanding after my internship.
Placement Experience
The placements are decent, the average lies somewhere between 12-13 LPA. the highest salary till now was 28LPA, and few companies like Big 4, come for mass recruitment. I have plans to work after my MBA, so I'm looking forward to the placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total tuition fees is around INR 20L, I'm not sure about financial aids or assistance for the students, but we can avail loans, from various banks. The average rates vary from 8-11% PA The fees has to be paid in 2 installments, one before the session commences, and another after the 1st year.
Campus Life
The campus life is great, it's a little far from the city, around 80Kms from the main city. we have various clubs and committees, like marketing club, HR club, finance club, sports club, cultural committee, PR committee, etc
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is fabulous! i don't think any other college has this great hostel facilities, we have a gym/fitness centre, general stores, TV rooms, laundry services, games room, etc. All rooms are 4 sharing, with ample amount of space.
Admission
First we had our NMAT exam which was moderately difficult, as compared to OMETS, we gave it in our home cities, the scores are displayed right after the exam is over, unlike other exams. Then we got calls, after a few weeks, where we had to go for our WAT/PI, wat was a test to check our written aptitude and The PI process was great!
Interview Experience
We had a written test, which is called the WATSON test, where we had to write about a topic. Talking about the PI, they ask questions like, why MBA, why not your own business, what learnings do you look forward to, etc. I took coaching from Career launcher, for CAT and PI.
