Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics and Telecommunication involves study of both hardware and software part which are now a bright part of industries. So, this makes us industry ready for jobs. We can sit in both software and hardware jobs according to the skills we earned.

Placement Experience

Students get the chance of placements at 7th and 8th semesters. Companies like TCS, cognizant, Marquee Semiconductor, Smart SOC etc. Recruit from the college. They take students according to their criterias for the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The complete cost will be around 100000 of the course and the hostel fees will be 80000 if you opt. But, if you scored good scores on 12th exam, there will be a special scholarship scheme. It should be contacted with the accounts person while admission as the schemes keep changing.

Campus Life

We have a Central library which acceses us all required books. In every year college conducts Spring festival of 7days call TechFest and TriFest. Also with sports activities among students. Also inter college football, cricket tournaments are normal.

Admission

Admission was according to all india JEE ranks. You can apply for councelling in JEE or OJEE to get into the college. All basic reservations like caste , special abilities are available in college. Also special scholarship schemes for good scorers in 12th exam.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

This university has a higher rate in providing placement to the students.approximate eighty percentage of students getting campus.i had also got a campus in my final year.From the forth semester students gets a chance to sit in a campus test .There are lots of national and international companies visited to this university they give a lot of offer to the students.The average offer package by the companies are three lakhs a year.

Life at Trident college

I chose Trident academy of Technology due to its affordable fees , decent placements, Faculty support.The admission process was based on JEE Mains scores,followed by counselling.Compared to KIIT or CET ,TAT is more budget friendly but lacks advanced labs and strong industry exposure . Placement are decent , especially for IT roles .
