Course Curriculum Overview

Basically If we see in today's world most of our works are done online with different a d apps. So I also have interest in making apps ,web development so then I decided to choose this field . And the curriculum there is quite good and and the exams are also held on time to time to check our abilities in respected fields

Internships Opportunities

See I didn't go for internship right now but I listen from students that it's good and they have got good amount of stipend also from company And they get the opportunity to design project for comapny and have contribute somewhere in company growth.

Placement Experience

Yes the college Ave good number of placement each year and have collaboration with big mncs. A large number of students get offer from companies to work there with great amount. The highest package is of 1000000 and avg package is of 500000 which I think is good

Fees and Financial Aid

As I told the annual fees is 90000 with each semester registration fees is 5890 with they took on every semester. So if we calculate then the total fees of 4 year is somewhere around 400000 which I think is quite good according to the demand of education we have. And there is scholarship for girls in which there is concession in their fees upto 30 to 40 percent.

Campus Life

Every year the college organise boot ca.p in the forest where they do trekking , and other adventure activities. Then there is fest and other culture festival organised by college so that student can't get bored or feel strsded die to land of studies.

Admission

So basically I go to institution for admission process after my class 12 exam results was declared. I enquire about admission process, documents requirements and etc. Then they told me that I can get direct admission without entrance exam and I have to deposit amount of 95000 which yearly fees during admission process. So after someday I go there submit the documents, and amount and then I get the admission in my desire field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester we become eligible for placements and sit for on campus interviews . In mechanical ONGC , IOCL ,JSW , physics wallah , vedanta and for cse and IT there are companies like paypal , microsoft (internship) , increff etc come for on campus placement.

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
