The curriculum effectively prepares students for real-world applications with its practical approach. However, incorporating more hands-on projects and real-world simulations can make the curriculum even better.
Internships Opportunities
At NMIMS Hyderabad, internship opportunities are abundant, providing practical exposure and skill development. Companies such as Mayora, IFB Industries, and SportzInteractive offer roles like Business Analyst, and Marketing Intern with competitive stipends. Projects undertaken during internships vary ranging from market research and data analysis to strategic planning.
Placement Experience
Campus Placements at NMIMS Hyderabad commences from the fifth semester onwards. Renowned companies like Deloitte, EY, Bank of America, Digit, and many more, offer a substantial number of job offers. The highest package offered was around 20 LPA, while the average ranges from 11-12 LPA across different profiles. 100% of the students secure placements every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
At NMIMS Hyderabad, the total cost including hostel fee and academic fee, amounts to 21,00,000 rupees. Unfortunately, scholarships are not provided. However, the Placement Committee is very active and ensures good placements, offering ample campus placement opportunities. Despite the absence of scholarships, the comprehensive placement support offsets financial concerns for many students.
Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life at NMIMS Hyderabad has been enriching. Annual Festivals like Nirvana and other Intra College events happen throughout the year and foster a vibrant social atmosphere. The library offers a wide range of books and journals, easily accessible for academic pursuits. Classrooms are equipped with modern facilities and technological provisions. Sports Facilities are diverse, catering to various interests. There are multiple student-driven clubs and committees like sports clubs, domain-specific clubs and committees like placements committees, and many more which contribute significantly to student life, fostering personal growth.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Accommodation at NMIMS Hyderabad is compulsory. The Campus hostels are akin to 5-star hotels offering lavish amenities. Each floor is equipped with a microwave oven, kettle, and fridge, enhancing convenience. The hostel registration process was straightforward and while affordability varied, the quality of facilities justified the cost.
Admission
Admission to NMIMS Hyderabad for their flagship MBA Program was smooth. The entrance examination "NMAT" is held if you want to get into NMIMS all campuses. Eligibility criteria were straightforward, and the online application forms were reasonably priced. The NMAT cutoff for NMIMS Hyderabad is around 200 and they ensure the selection process is transparent and smooth. The difficulty level of the exam was manageable, however, there is room for improvement in terms of quicker feedback post exams. Overall it was a positive experience with some areas that could be enhanced for future applicants.
