My honest Review about my PGDM course at We School Bangalore

PGDM E-business is a flagship program of welingkar Bangalore. The course focuses on integrating the business with evolving technology aspects and how they can streamline the business processes. the curriculum prepares for the interview for placements especially e-business curriculum as only this course teaches about the evolving technology which is in demand by industry. technologies like cloud, big data, SQL,blockchain etc. For improvement the course and teaching method is more interactive and real on field learing can be included. Exams are held every 3 month at the end of trimester which are for 2.5hrs. It's of medium level of difficulty.

Companies like Deloitte, Accenture, ACT, Dell, Reliance Retail, Birla soft, ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential, and v-axis insurance company. roles are for mostly for sales and marketing, digital marketing or some live projects.

Placement for this year is around 65% have been placed with an average package of 9.5 lakh. At Welingkar they have a policy of one student one opportunity policy which means if placed you have to take it and can't be denied. 3 of the big 4 have came this year expect EY. Company like accenture, infosys, reliance retail, birla soft, landmark for international jobs opportunity. company come for Job roles like associate consultant, business analyst, MT and sales for marketing students. highest package for 2022-2024 is 18 lakh for international opportunity whereas for 16.5 lakh for domestic by Deloitte. students are eligible for placement from beginning of 2nd year of the college which is 4th trimester. So far around 20-30 companies have come up with opportunities.

tuition fee for batch 2022-2024 was 13 lakh for 2 years. for 2023-2025 it's 14 lakh. every year tuition fees increase with around a 10% hike rate. there is an additional Rs.-5000 library deposit. The complete cost is 1300000. For financial aid, you may take the loan or if you are in a low-income bracket you any ask for a scholarship during the registration form submission.

We have we vibe, webiz fest which is a fun and cultural event of we School Bangalore. The college organizes many events and fest in 1st year. The library is rich with thousands of books, journals, fiction, and non-fiction. There are 1 whiteboard 2 projectors and many speakers for the seamless learning experience. There is not much sports clubs but we have rotract club and many specialization clubs for marketing, operation, HR, and finance all these clubs are run by students but under the guidance of faculty. we have an e-learn portal to track our academic records, attendance, and timetable. but very poor outdoor infrastructure. with only 2 floors.

The admission process for welingkar is of 3 steps i.e WAT in registration form, GD and PI. Registration form comes in 3 phases which is available for limited time on the welingkar institute's official website which costed me around Rs.3500-5000. Eligibility for admission is good score in any competitive exam and passing marks in 10th and 12th standard. Passing in any graduation with good scores. Cut-off for competitve exam is between 85-90 percentile. Benefit for Lower income class. there 6 trimester each of 3-4 months. After 1st year there is mandatory internship program and research paper submission.exam are of 60 marks for 2.5 hrs for full credit subjects.

Due to COVID, we didn't have a GD process. But we had PI online. Before that, there is WAT with a few questions regarding the program they provide to know your understanding and clarity of the choice you have given. Online classes peer interviews, and a coaching center helped prepare for the interview.
