Best 2 years of life

The course is divided into 6 trimester. First year everyone has to learn subjects from marketing, finance, strategy, HR, operations. Next year students can choose their specialisation based on their internet and future scope, a combination of many subjects. Around 20-25 electives are given to choose from.

I interned with ICICI bank. Highest stipend offered was 85,000 a month. The SIP opportunities are very nice - management trainee, product manager, research associate, marketing research, portfolio management. Great roles are offered.

The placements have been great, big companies like TATA, Deloitte, PWC, Wells Fargo, Nestle have visited the campus. The batch is of 267 students and 90% batch has been placed. The placement process continues till march and after that assistance is provided by the college. The highest package is 20 lakhs and lowest would be 7-8 lakhs.

Tuition fees for the first year is 9,20,000 and hostel fees is 2,00,000. NMIMS has a tie up with BOB for student loans. The tuition fees is asked all at once, hostel fees can be paid later. There's no on campus jobs. Scholarships are not given. There's no fees concession whatsoever. Tuition fees includes everything from books to material.

Like any other college, we have clubs and committees - cultural, sports, PR, academics. The selection for the same starts in month of July / august. Every festival is celebrated here in the campus. There's well maintained 2 floor library with Bloomberg terminal.

The food menu of the mess is very diverse. We get special dinner / lunch whenever there's an event. The food is tasty, balance diet, with salad, roti, rice, pickle and curd. Hygiene is maintained in the mess. Staff is also very cooperative, they serve sick food too. Rooms are comfortable and interior are very nice. They give pillows, blankets, bed sheet. We have ample storage to keep our stuff. Housekeeping is also cooperative.

Exam is online - NMAT exam, application fees for one exam is 2000, you can write 2 exams, the cut off score of NMIMS Hyderabad comes around to 200 nmat score. The exam starts from month of October ends till February. There's no negative marking for the exam. The difficulty level is medium, also depends on the slot you're giving. Choose a middle slot after CAT exam which will help you in getting idea about the questions.

Since the process was online, so I had written ability test, where they want to test knowledge and writing skills. And follows by that there's a personal interview, candidates are expected to be prepared with basic questions about themselves, business gk, communication is the key. Body language is taken into account. The panelist's are very friendly.
