Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

In terms of applicability, I found the curriculum to be quite relevant to my professional objectives and academic interests. It effectively addressed the most recent trends and innovations in the sector, which informed my decision to take this course. The curriculum's breadth ensured a thorough comprehension of both theoretical concepts and practical applications, better equipping me for real-world issues and future academic pursuits. However, there is room for improvement. I recommend using more real-world case studies and interactive learning methods to increase engagement and practical comprehension. Furthermore, updating content more frequently to reflect the most recent industry trends would be advantageous. The frequency and timing of exams were well-structured, allowing for enough preparation. Although difficult, I considered the exams to be a fair reflection of my extracurricular and academic nature.

Fees and Financial Aid

In NMIMS there is not financial support or scholarship. The complete cost of my education, including tuition, service fees and other compulsory charges is 22 lakhs. 4 lakhs for the hostel and 18 lakhs for the course. Nmims provides placements and internship opportunities to the students with a 100% record.

Campus Life

4

Overall experience is very good but the campus is located 80 kms away from the Hyderabad so it's difficult to find a place to fun. But having a residential program is very good as we have enjoyed many events like freshers, farewell, cricket league, athletics, bollywood night, dance night, all the major festival celebrations. If we talk about the infrastructure, it's in process to become a city-like campus. Hostel is very good and academic building too. They provide all the technological support such as wifi, RO water, food, smart board, TV etc. There are many clubs that are student driven only, for cultural, sports, academic, etc.

Admission

In India it's difficult to get into an MBA college, as there is so much competition. But there are so many competitive exams like NMAT, SNAP, XAT, CAT, TISSNET, MICAT, etc. Which help students to get into their dream college. I followed youtube influencer about the updates regarding the application forms, it's better to find the application form on the colleges' website. You can give 1 attempt to the NMAT to have a NMIMS college, 2 attempts for Symbiosis (SNAP), and others also only 1 attempt. The window for NMAT is September to January, for SNAP it's December and January, Cat is in the last week of novemeber. I got 208 marks and the cutoff for NMIMS Hyderabad was 200. Level of difficulty is high in XAT and CAT. Moderate for NMAT and easy for SNAP.

To settle in the good financial sector and to improve my skills. The student ratio is less in MBA courses. The faculty is less supportive. The faculty is well educated with Ph.D. and Doctraits, Method of teaching should be changed. There was no time for preparation for term exams. It was quite difficult to pass.
