Experience at SIBM Nagpur

Curriculum is as per the industry standards. Their are industrial visits for Students of Operations and Supply Chain Management. Case Studies are discussed in Class . In an semesters we have 2 examinations mid term and End terms . Other than this their are assignments and quiz's conducted for all subjects. Visiting Faculties from industries are also invited fo minimize the market gap from Campus to Corporate

The roles offered are good and average stipend is about 20k per month. Their are 100 percent placements for Summer Internship Placements. The roles differ from specialization to specialization. Companies such as Tata AIG , VE commercial vehicle, Tata Trent , Fujitsu are some of the recruiters.

Their are campus placements conducted in college itself . Companies such as HCLtech , Delloite , ETmedia labs , GT Bharat , Hexaware , genpact and many more . The total number of recruiters are close to 90. The avg package is close to 10.5 lacs per annum.

Every the tuition fee may increase upto 10 percen and other charges as well. The complete cost may range from 19 lacs to 23 lacs . For Nagpur Domiciled students with relevant documents it is 19 lacs .You may avail education loans from tie up bank such as canara , Sbi, Hdfc, etc

The annual Manifest is held in Month of March and is one the kind and largest fest conducted on campus by SIBM institute. The Library at SIU Nagpur Campus has a wide range of Books to offer. They have recently added the subscription of Harvard Business Study (HBS) and linkedln learning. On Campus we have badminton court, Futsal turf , Basketball Turf , Volleyball Turf , Gym and many more facilities. Talking about clubs and committees in SIBM their are total 13 committees and 5 SIGs ( Special Interest Groups ).

Since it is a Residential Program you can't rent a room outside campus. Facilities provided in hostel room are Good and adequate. The meals provided are okish like typical mess food. Hostels are good for comfortable living on Campus.

We appear for SNAP. Based on SNAP scores the Shortlist is released. Then there will GE - PI for the shortlisted candidates. In our case we also has WAT( Writen Ability Test) but from this year it is removed. Based on Combined scores of SNAP and GE- PI the final merit lists are released.

Topics for GD are based on Current affairs or may be abstract. They are openended. Preparation of GD could done by Staying updated about business news , geopolitics, etc . Continous reading and connecting the dots are essential.
