Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of SIBM Nagpur is good and there is a variety of specializations to choose from including different domains like Finance, HR, Operations, and many more I personally like their teaching pattern They have advanced teaching patterns. Faculties are very cooperative and supportive. SIBM Nagpur is the new university, but it is trying very hard to come forward in the race. There are more than five specializations offered in the course.
Internships Opportunities
The internship i got is with career mantra offering a stipend of 10 thousand per month with the role of digital marketing intern and offering diversified role according to the student capability. Various companies visited the college, Including Mercedes, HCL, Grand Thorton, and many more.
Placement Experience
The college used to provide almost 90% placement opportunities. Apart from that, if we take off-campus placements, we can get one as it is a brand SYMBIOSIS. The average placement the college offers doesn't meet the ROI but is improving yearly. The highest package is 25.6 lakh per annum, and the median is 9 lakh per annum. The various companies visiting the college are TATA TRENT, AMUL, COLGATE, and MERCEDES.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of SIBM Nagpur for MBA course is approx 22-23 lacks with maximum weightage on the academics fees that is 3 lakh and hostel fees around 85000 and the additional hike of 15% in the fees every year the reserved cast categories people use to get scholarship opportunities. And the college use to provies companies for summer internship and placements.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of SIBM Nagpur is the best, AC Classrooms are there, and the campus is very beautiful. The college has various clubs like Finomics, Huros, and Markiyosis, and communities like Placement Cell, ALMAT, and RCDT, which are very active. overall, my experience is very good. There is a gala dinner every month and students participate in every festival
Hostel Facilities
The MBA program at SIBM Nagpur is a residential program, and students must stay in hostels inside the campus. It is compulsory to stay inside the campus. The food is good compared to other colleges, as I saw.The hostel is quite spacious with accommodation facilities for more than 3000 people, and the hostel fee is around 85000 annually, which is affordable enough with well-equipped AC Rooms
Admission
First, we have to prepare for the SNAP exam, and then after taking the SNAP exam, according to our scores, we are shortlisted in the various symbiosis institutes. Then, we have to prepare ourselves for the GDPI session. Then, after qualifying for the GDPI round, we are shortlisted for the specific college. The cutoff of SIBM Nagpur is approximately 50 percent. There is snap held in the month of december every year and college fees is rs 1000 per college, For Sc category the cutoff is very low as compared to other general category they have a reservation of around 15% and similar case ST.
Interview Experience
Yes, during the time of admission, we do use to have group discussions and interview sessions and on the basis of that majorly the admission is been decided. My topic for GD was Facebook vs. Linked In. I did exceptionally well in the GD and was later qualified for the interview. If we use to perform well in the GDPI sessions then only we use to get qualified in the college. I prepared with the help of Edu Tech and Byjus.
