IIT Bhubaneswar review

The curriculum in our college is good The way we get educated here is very relevant to the outside world The teaching methods are very useful as they make students and faculty have a good bonding which helps in gaining significant amount of knowledge on subject and its applications too Here exams are conducted twice a semester mid and end sem besides that we have quizes activities and class tests they are ofter condected once for every two weeks

Our college provides internship opportunity for most of the students in various companies almost all of the students get internships from starting of the third year also our college provides facilities for our projects

The campus placements in our college are average compared with top iits but it is good when seen solely many companies come here and offer decent package to most of the students for software related jobs cgpa wont matter that much but for getting core jobs decent cgpa (8+) to get nice package and other cgpas provide us with avg packages above 85% students are getting placements in our college

The Tuition fees in our college are 1 lakh per semester fess remission is two thired for obc and there is zero Tuition fees for sc and st students Intitute fees is separate every student must pay that fees it is approximately 23k hostel and mess fee are approximately 18k totally it costs around a 1.5 lakh per semester for a general student and 50k for a sc or st student

Our college has 3 fests and 10+ societies and approximately 20 clubs Ao the campus life is quite enjoyable and it encourages students to develop their social aspects the fests we have here are wissenaire it is tech fest e summit it is entrepreneurship related fest and alma which is cultural fest they are generally held in feb and march We have a wide range of books collection in our library both academic related and others even soft copies are available The facilities and technological provisions in our classrooms are very great every class has a projector every class has a mic Extra academic activities are compulsory for first years and students can continue from second year if they are intrested the facilities provided regarding sports and other are also nice gc general championship is going to very grateful opportunity for all the students

The rooms provided here are very neat and clean we would be getting single rooms for all the students every room is given one table chair and cot all are of very nice quality the mess food here is also nice most of times we would be served north food and seldom south food hostel fees are around 18k including mess per semester

The students who are good in mat phy and chem are eligible for the course The admission process is through iit jee advance exam The students who are qualified jee mains are eligible to write jee advanced For IITs reservations are available and it has benefits like less cut off for admission once we got rank in advance exam we can secure a seat
