Tech in a hundred year old university

University of Lucknow is a very old university but the btech course is start in 2017 and it's first batch was pass out in 2022 it's syllabus from other universities is almost same.But the syllabus is very old like we have to learn C not C++ and also the DSA in C language .I think the University have to change this.Exam are happening on time so basically there are 2 midsem exam in which the university has take the best one .End sem exam is easy there are total ten questions and we have to do 5 of them .Each question contains 14 marks.

Students are eligible in their seventh semester for the annual placement.There are some companies which are visited the university like Wipro ,TCS,Byjus and some new startups as well.The highest package is 14 LPA and the average package is around 4.5 LPA. 70 percent students are placed.My plans like I wanna pursue MBA so I am currently preparing for CAT because I am interested in economics and management as well as.

The annual fee is 120060 per annum. You have to give the fee in two installments in every semester. Overall fee is taking semester wise. There is some scholarship which is provided by the university but the scholarship amount is so low around 30K.anum .There is one scholarship known as Karmyogi Scholarship. Every student who are not availing of any other gov. and private scholarship are eligible for this scholarship and the scholarship amount is 30K. But Most of the students are depending the Uttar Pradesh gov scholarship in this scholarship the state gov give 52 to 56k for general and OBC category students and 120K(around the full fee) for SC,ST category students. The college management is so helpful they are not forcing any student for fee they also give some extra time to the students to arrange the fees.

Campus Life is good because hostel and accommodation facilities are not so good some of the hosteles looks like a haunted building and there are also limited seat for btech students and the hostel is not alloted to everyone allotment is based on the jee rank for the boys if any student get fail in semester he have to leave the hostel but for the girls the hostel are so good like a hotel and the hostel looks amazing and hostel is alloted to every girl.There is a library and we can access the books so easily but the library is closed at the 5 pm.There are also some Clubs which are running in the campus like Enlit I am also the part of it we are hosting many event like Kavyapath,Slogan writing etc and there is also a student community called LUCSC(Lucknow University cultural sports committee)which is organised a annual Sankriti Surbhi every year.Class are good and also elevated classroom as well.

For taking addmission in Lu you have to give Joint entrance exam cutoff is not so high it's around 85.00 percentile for computer science general category and placement is average.The college in conducting it's own counseling.
