The collage is very eco friendly.The collage is situated on a hill top.
We have a large play ground for developing our sportsmanship.
Some of the teachers very friendly.The help us to improve.

Dislikes

We don't have enough transportation facilities
Not updated syllabus. Old content and tough to understand.
Unwanted subjects in the syllabus which is a waste of time.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum consist of wide area of knowledge related to choosen course. Additionaly provides lab section, project, intership opportunity, sports club and arts club, technical festival etc.I would be better if the curriculum update according to involving job market.So it is good for us improving our carrier.

Class Size: 59Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure of KTU is affordable according to us. Tuition fees for government seats ranging from 36000 to 46000 and for the management seat ranging from 60000 to 100000.So if we study hard we can easily archive the seat.

Campus Life

The campus life is very boring and frustrated for me.We can't make a study plan due to over stress.My collage is not providing any active participation in arts and sports.So we don't get any chance to develop our skills.

Admission

I attended keem entrance exam conducted by government of Kerala.I qualified and I got admission in merit seat through an alottement process.The admission process is pretty easy in my experience.I had submitted my keem rank list and other formal certificate including my academic achievements in high secondary .

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

So I have basically done by BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering Kottarakkara anyone can avail admission to this college by writing an entrance exam called Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance exam also known as keam. Minimum eligibility for writing this sentence exam is 12th grade. Application form for this entrance exam can be found in the website called CE Kerala this website is the website of the controller of entrance examinations for various examinations conducted by the state of Kerala.No reservation benefits were availed by me as I am a General categories student.
