- Placements are very good, campus life is very enjoyable and I'm quite liking my course
Dislikes
- The food quality in the mess can be improved or rather it could be made consistent as sometimes they give us very good food and sometimes it's very bad
- The workload, especially in the first year is generally very much as we have about 30 hours of classes every week.
- The college should have a good main gate. It doesn't have a main gate and one can't tell that it's an NIT because it doesn't even have a proper gate.ate
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is designed very well and has been recently updated to comply with the New Education policy 2020. The course has a good ratio of labs to theory courses and teaches you all the basic skills you need while also imparting practical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
I'm still in the first year so I don't have any idea about internships but I do have the information that everyone has to do a mandatory internship in the third year. The stipend is usually between 50k and 1l and most of them also get converted to PPOs. But I don't have any much opinions except this.
Placement Experience
The placements are generally considered good with an average of 18 lakhs and a placement percentage greater than 90 percent. As for the no of companies, since I'm in the first year so I don't have much information about that. As for the highest package, it was about 64 lakhs last year and the current year datavis still not out yet. As for me, I plan to sit for placements after my degree and get a well-paying job
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is generally around 80k per semester for tution fees plus the miscellaneous fees but for SC candidates the tuition fees is completely remitted. The complete cost of the course comes down to about 4.5 lakhs for the entirety of the 4 years course for any SC candidate.
Campus Life
The campus is very beautiful and spans over 312 acres in the heart of Jaipur. The campus has a lot of greenery and is very good in terms of a college campus. As for the classrooms they are equipped with blackboards as well as projectors. The college also has 2 annual fests:- Blitzschlag, the annual cultural fest and Sphinx, the annual techno-management fest. There are also a plethora of clubs in our college and the total count comes out to be over 30. So, I'd say that the campus life is very good.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels areveey fell ventilated and each room gets a lot of natural light and hence are very good for siiting for long hours. Also, you get very high speed internet, 1Gbps to be precise in all the rooms. As for the mess food, I'd say it's decent enough and I'd give it a 7. You have to register for hostel usually at the start of a semester but sometimes you can get a room in the middle of the semester too.
Admission
The admission process includes the jee exam and then the josaa counselling following which you have to pay the fees. The cutoff for my branch is around 10k rank crl. The exam is conducted twice in one year and the difficulty is moderate.
