Remarks
I would like to conclude by saying that I am highly privileged to belong to my college which is one of the most decent and happening college throughout Mumbai. I would definitely love to recommend it to those living in the suburbs in Mumbai.
Entrance Preview
It is the best college as it is main college handling all the syllabus as well as exam related queries and solutions. It is the oldest and premier universities in India. Initially, the University concentrated its efforts on controlling teaching at the undergraduate level and in conducting examinations. Later on it took up research and the task of imparting instructions at the Post-Graduate level.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would honestly say that the University of Mumbai needs to revise the curriculum & teach us some new technology and stop teaching the old outdated technology. Secondly, there should be more practicals & activities which makes one understand the real industrial processes & should provide more exposure to industry via internships.
Internships Opportunities
No the college mumbai university the course which I studied it doesn't provides internship for that.but yes I have heard that they provide for mba .
Placement Experience
The placement is good but there are no lot of opportunities for the same . AS one have to wait for the perfect opportunity to grab it and move ahead in life. It is so far not the great placement centre. But it have ample opportunities just have to wait for the perfect time.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in the college. One day national conference on sustainability, society and environment .One day seminar on research methodology and recent techniques. Also many scholarship events take place.Techfest Cultural fest Sports week also takes place.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible when compared with the other colleges available for the same. It's not too much expensive and everyone can also afford it. Suppose if in other college it is 10k here it is 6k. There is a difference though it is distance and other colleges it is not distance learning.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is scholarships for cast and income problem, There is no fees for st cast and they get 15000 and above scholarship and same as sc and obc There is freeship programs as well
Campus Life
Campus life is cool and peaceful as they have a huge campus and you feel connected to nature there is variety for tree and flowers are in campus. There is no problems for gender issue and no teasing among people or anything as such. Nature is the best thing in the campus.
Hostel Facilities
Food is ok i would say. There is also hostel facilities different for boys and girls for food there is canteen for sport there is playground and there is no issue of security. Food is not that bad but not like how we get in our own home. Still it's good .
Alumni/Alumna
no I am not much aware of most of alumni of my college. But I heard about them some are manager and celebrity and not much know.
Exam Structure
Exam structure so far is good it doesn't build up pressure on students and the exams are conducted once in a year also it has started ayit facilities do that students will be relieved and won't be having any lack in their studies . Students are happy with the exam structure.
Admission
There is an online admission form one has to fill that and all the details filled in it should be accurate and correct as well as in detail.the payment is to be made by demand draft or can even pay online using debit card or credit card. anyone willing to join mu can fill the form and get an admission easily depending on the seats available.
