Course Curriculum Overview
The course is designed in a manner that it is relevant with the constantly changing business environment. I always wanted to learn management that's why I chose the course. All the faculties are highly experienced in their field of study and uses case study method to teach the students.
Placement Experience
First-year college provide summer internships to the students and in the second year students sit for placements. Average package for our college is 1450000 which is decent. Almost 100% students gets placed after the placements. Some good recruiters which visit the campus are Paypal, KPMG and ITC.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees which the college charges is 1995000 which includes overall expenses of the students.There is no scholarship given to the students in the college. College generally increases fee at a rate of 10% for new batch and college do provide internship as well as placements opportunities for its students.
Campus Life
The campus life here at Great Lakes is very vibrant. There are various clubs starting from sports to ethics. Students get a lot of exposure participating in these clubs and societies and their network also expands. Library of the college is also good and very big and have good number of books in it.
Hostel Facilities
Our college has 10 hostels in total for boys and girls. All the hostels have air conditioners in them and students can choose whether they want to take single, double or triple sharing rooms. The mess food is also good and has a lot of variety in it. Students if they want can also buy paid menu.
Admission
I took the CAT examination in which I got 89 percentile and got admission in Great Lakes. The college accepts CAT, XAT and CMAT in which the cutoff for CAT and XAT is 80 percentile and for CMAT is 90 percentile. There are no reservations given to students and the application fee for the college was 2000.
Interview Experience
First, a written ability test was taken in which my topic was about Russia Ukraine War after that PI was taken where in there were two panelists (both males). The interview went on for 20 minutes and the questions were mainly based on current affairs and academics. Overall the process was smooth.
