Likes

Everyone is friendly. Usually no fights happens on campus.
It is quite there is no heavy machinery sounds or vehicle sounds

Dislikes

Lack of transportation. Since the college is situated in a non bus route.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum in the first and second semester is not so relevant for the upcoming years of student life. But third semester onwards it is mostly relevant. Odd semesters are usually harder than their even counterparts. The timing of the exams are a problem as there is 2 exam per day without any study leave. This doesn't include semester exams.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is basically divided into three. Merit, Management, NRI. Merit is selected based on the ranking of KEAM . NRI doesn't require you to write the exam. Management seats are also given based on keam ranking. For merit the fees goes down the higher the rank you have. In management its is about 35,000-40,000 per semester. NRI seats cost more.

Campus Life

There isn't a large number of students in the college. The strength is low but the campus is quite. Since it is situated outside the town area. There is no major disturbance of cars trucks etc. There is a college bus for transportation.

Admission

The admission process was rather simple . To be eligible for the course you have to write an entrance exam called KEAM . Admission is done based on the ranking in the exam . Application form,fees and dates will be availed from the college. They are also available in the official website of the college. Exams may be difficult. There will be a series exam each month and a sem exam in sep and jan. Overall the admission process was easy.

Interview Experience

Since there was an entrance exam there was no interview or special test . On Admission day the senior students of the college gave a broad idea about what the college is. How things work etc etc. Everyone was friendly.

So I have basically done by BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering Kottarakkara anyone can avail admission to this college by writing an entrance exam called Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance exam also known as keam. Minimum eligibility for writing this sentence exam is 12th grade. Application form for this entrance exam can be found in the website called CE Kerala this website is the website of the controller of entrance examinations for various examinations conducted by the state of Kerala.No reservation benefits were availed by me as I am a General categories student.
