This college is situated under a small mountain so the view is very beautiful

Dislikes

I dislike the 2nd ,3rd,4th yr hostel bcoz all are joined together all the 2nd yr 3rd yr and 4th yr students have to stay together in one big hostel

I love electrical engineering branch and based on my jee rank I got this college In this college you have to work hard to achieve your goal by your own Teachers have required to more professional in their respective field

After completion of 6th sem you will be eligible for sitting in college campus placement Companies that are visited to this college are tata power,adani,imfa,vedanta,rungta,intellipat etc After I got degree I don't have any plan to study above degrees like mtech or phd

Fees and Financial Aid

Complete course of education:- couse fee:-27430 Compulsory charge :- around 5000 for anything you damaged and it will be refunded Tution fee is very less as this is a government college If we have to stay in hostel you have to pay :-1st yr:-approx 40000 And in 2nd yr you got hostel based on your cgpa and cost will be approx:-43000

Campus Life

A cultural fest is held every year in this college named Utkarsh and it will be in March or April month Library is good In extracurricular activities, dance will be there and many other clubs are there like the robotics club

Admission

After giving jee or ojee entrance exam you will be eligible for studing in this college based on your rank You can easily get all the required things from college website itself In the process of addmission there is a little bit of required of improvement

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I would recommend this college if your rank is between 1.5lakh and above. This is the best college you will get in this rank in terms of placements . I've applied for vssut burla and cet bhubaneswar.but I've got in this college and this course from the starting. No I didn't got rejection from other colleges Eligibility 65% in previous exam, Jee or ojee exams are accepted Jee is most preferred Cutoff of jee is 60 percentile for CSE branch .
