Remarks

The overall college management is excellent. The area of the campus is smaller but due to Palace area, it takes the attention of every person visiting the institute.

Entrance Preview

Common Entrance Test of Maharashtra conducted by DTE Maharashtra. The score obtained by me in the exam out of 200 is as follows: Score: 102/200

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was excellent as per the requirement of the industry. This includes different subjects covering three sub-areas viz. Production, Design and Heat Power. The syllabus includes theory as well as practical sessions along with industrial tours and industrial training of minimum 15 days.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. The college is giving opportunity to students for internship in the various industries in india as well as in foreign countries. The internship with stipend is also available.

Placement Experience

Our institute provides 100 % placement and opportunities to all the students. Also various soft skill improvement programs are arranged for the students. This includes different modules like aptitude, group discussion, interview and others as per the requirement of the particular company.

College Events

Techsymposium event is organized each year in the month of March. This event consisting of different events for the students from different colleges and institutions. Events like quiz, CAD contest, robo race, robo war, cyclomech will be organized by all departments together.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure consisting of tuition fees, development fees, alumni fees, student activity fees and many other. The total fees for every year changes as per the number of faculties and their salary. The fees is affordable to the students as different scholarships are available.

Fees and Financial Aid

Special scholarship for economically poor students having excellent academic record is provided. Different awards in the form of money/scholarship is presented during annual social day function every year. Also for the educational loan support is given to students.

Campus Life

Campus life is excellent as the college is located in the heart of the city and the institute is situated in Rajwada of the Ichalkaranji. Sports activities are conducted every year in the month of January and February. Competitions such as Go-Kart, Robotics are conducted.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available for Boys and Girls separately. The WiFi facility is available. Hot water is provided by solar water heating system to the hostel. Special safety arrangement is provided in girls hostel. Mess facility is available in college canteen. Food quality is good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very strong for this institute. Every year on the 26 January, annual Alumni meet is arranged in the institute as well as at the remote locations like Pune, Mumbai. The Alumni association every year spend some amount on different activities like guest lecture arrangement of Alumni in the institute.

Exam Structure

Exam structure includes two semester exams of 25 marks each for each semester and the semester end exam of 100 marks. The two exams of 25 marks consisting of two units of syllabus and 100 marks exam consisting of all 6 units of the syllabus. The total marks are converted to grade and finally a CGPA is given from the total of all subject marks.

Admission

I got the admission in the institute through centralized admission process of DTE. This includes filling of option form alongwith submission of scanned documents to DTE. Then allotment of the institute for specific course. Then taking the admission in the institute with the allotment letter from DTE maharashtra.

Faculty

The faculty of our institute are well qualified. Some of them are PhD holders. All the faculties are having experience more than 10 years in industry and more than 10 years in academics. The teaching is more practical oriented and relevant to the industry.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari

Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

Easy Money

Likes

Rhythm. It’s a cultural fest that this college hosts and it is the only time of the year where there’s a vast majority of events you could participate in.
TECHITHON. It’s a Tech fest that this college hosts and it has tech events which encourages students to grow and learn more as this aligns with our course.
Friends. The last and only good thing about this college I’d say are the friends I’ve made across the years.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. I’m not really a fan of the infrastructure that is being provided by this college.
Campus. The campus has many such areas that cannot be accessed by students and god knows for what reason.
Stupid Rules. One stupid rule i can think of is that students are not allowed to use their cell phones in the campus nor can the students use their headphones without being on their phones despite it being an Engineering college this makes no sense.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course currently is in high demand and this is the course which offers the highest percentage of placements. Computer Engineering is the fundamental course one could pursue if they want to get into technology. We currently have 2 Internal Exams in each semester which prepares us well for the semester.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

Well, there's no need to worry about the admission process. Students who appeared for MhCET and JEE are eligible to apply for this college from a common entrance form. Both scores are considered. Eligibility criteria includes scoring minimum 70% in your board exams. There's no application fee for applying to this college but once you are allotted this seat , you have to visit this college to pay mandatory 1000 rupees, verifying all the necessary documents and have to pay minimum 50% of course fees.
