Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is tough and can be challenging for students It's well maintained with the current requirements for jobs Students need to study hard The exams held here are medium level not too hard Question asked are decent

Placements are not good It can be improved The average package recieved by students is 4LPA And the highest package is 10LPA Companies visited are all bulk recruiters Students are more motivated for higher studies rather than placements

The fee for 1st semester is Rs. 40000/- The hostel fee for 1st semester is Rs. 40000/- The fee is not affordable and costly Hostel fee 3rd semester onwards is Rs. 35000/- Tution for 1st semester is Rs. 27000/- No scholarshipsnor financial aids are given to students not even to rankers

Campus Life

Overall campus experience is decent Infrastructure is quite old and campus is a bit small The annual fest held here is OJAS it's the biggest fest in entire chhattisgarh Labs are well equipped and library has good amount of books Events and fest are held regularly with active participation

Admission

The admission process of errorless Document verification was done properly Admission process took place at the college The admission application fee was Rs. 500/- Admission were given through candidates CGPET and JEE Mains score Reservation benefits were there for SC ST and OBC

BIT DURG a 3.5/5 college

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we can sit in interviews but the companies are far too less, like in last year only 6 companies came to campus at all, with an average package of ?3,00,000 and about 15 students got placed from Entire BTech, like 15 out of 500 students that too for sales roles

It's a great college for engineering as well as commercial

Remarks:

As I've mentioned above the management is worse but the teaching system is good. The director is a piece of shit a bald cunt. He did not even know what he was doing. He was a non cooperative asshole. All he did was snoooe around in classes and intimidated teachers. All in one it is a good college to tak admission in.

This is a reputed college in Chhattisgarh, and maybe that's why I chose this college. One can get into it by giving either JEE Mains or CGPET.
