Remarks

College management should work upon imparting practical knowledge in students by conducting more number of workshops and technical events. Students should be given freedom to choose the electives. Placement training must be made more efficient and effective.

Entrance Preview

I have got a seat in this college through EAMCET examination, which is a competitive examination held by the Government of Telangana every year for entry into the Engineering colleges of the State. To get a seat in this college you must get a rank below 10000 (general category students). However getting a seat also depends upon the branch/stream you opt for and also reservation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course as you all know is a four year regular course and as this is an autonomous college every academic year has 2 semesters (some colleges have only one semester in the first year). As per the new guidelines of JNTU the number of labs have increased (theoretical subjects have been reduced) in order to impart practical knowledge in the students. Research totally depends upon the interest of students and the management surely helps the students. Students get to choose electives in third and fourth years.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are a little less and are generally provided through competitive examination. The stiped ranges from 1.2-3.0 LPA depending upon the company. For students from core branches, industrial trips are organized by the college.

Placement Experience

4

This college has got good number of placements. Most of the companies are IT companies and very few core companies visit this college. Companies like Mindtree, Capgemini, TCS, Deloitte visit the campus. Packages differ from company to company but average package offered is 3.5LPA. Amazon recruits students for developer roles and offers the package as high as 16LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As this college is one among the top colleges of the State the fee is a little high. presently the fee per year is about 1 lakh and the transportation fee is about 25000. Students who opt for hostel which is currently only for boys will have to pay an extra fee of about 65000 per year. Apart from this, there's regular fees like exam fee, fines and fee for industrial tours.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per my knowledge there's no facility for loans. But for students from economically backward classes the government of Telangana provides scholarship but it is very less compared to the expenses of the students.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is Normal with balanced studies and extracurricular activities. Gender ratio male:female is like 25:35. Students from all backgrounds, races, and religions are allowed. Politics and economics status differs from student to student. Workshop are held few times in a year for the students by the faculty or sometimes by the seniors to the juniors.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students have few interactions with the juniors. More interactions are not possible as the college class timings are almost same for all years. If we need any kind of help the seniors surely help. I feel the interactions must be more so as to understand the course and future opportunities better.

Exam Structure

Exams were quite hectic as every semester used to have 2 mid-term exams, 2 lab exams along with the main semester exam in a period of 5 months. Labs are conducted every day in the first year and thrice a week from the second year. All the examinations in the college are conducted Very strictly and according to the schedule provided at the beginning of the semester. However, if someone misses the internal mid-term exams, substitution exams are conducted on paying an additional fee and prior permission.

Admission

After getting a decent rank in the EAMCET examination students will be called for certificate verification and web counseling is conducted. After getting the results you have to take all your certificate along with the admit card to the college and fill up admission forms in order to confirm your seat. The administration will help you with the process and you also need to pay the college fee in time through a challan at the Bank.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of this college are well qualified with decent experience in teaching. Most of the faculty is available in the college hours. Some even stay back for an hour or two depending on their work. Every student needs to fill up the faculty feedback form every semester based on this the management organizes the faculty.

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.
