Likes

Campus is very big. We play cricket football etc.
Infrastructure is so well made that it gives us a feeling of studying in a famous college
Bus facility is very good .Bus facility is free of cost.

Dislikes

Class rooms are not air conditioned
The placement management is not cooperative
There is no career development classes for us

The teachers have lot of experience in teaching. They are very friendly and teaches lessons very understanding way. They teach us about how to appear interviews and personal interview.that will be helpful for us to get a good job.There is 3 exams in one semester. Two mid semester exam and one end semister exam.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees is 45000 per semester. I may increase this year. There is no hike in fees since i have joined this college. There is also extra fees like sports academy fees, exam fees , semester registration fees etc.The campus employment is average as less no of companies come for campus .

The name of the annual function is Vasantika. There is also a Annual sports meet is held on the end of February every year. There is a wide range of books and journals available in the library. There is a smart class with smart board and air conditioning.

Admission

You can can apply for bachelors in technology in DRIEMS through sams odisha website.the main criteria for admission is you must appeared JEE main or OJEE entrance exam. For application form and application fees you should contact the college.The phone no is available online.Special seat reservation for OBC,ST ,SC according to Odisha Government rules . the management should be more cooperative.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.
