Curriculum is tough and tiring but students can cover it by studying hard and thoroughly The curriculum does prepare you for real world as it's updated according to current trends and requirements The exam are not difficult they are medium level

The internships here are not good Internships are given after 3rd semester but are unpaid One student got internship at Google with 1.5 Lakh stipend per month Faculties also receive projects sponsored by government and private

The campus placements of BIT Durg is very bad it's not up to the mark The college is known across chhattisgarh but still it's campus placements is bad The average package stood this year is 4LPA And the highest package is 10LPA Most of the companies that came here were bulk recruiters

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for 1st sem is Rs 40000/- The hostel fee for 1st sem is Rs 40000/- The fee 3rd semester onwards is Rs 35000/- No scholarship are given by college and no financial aid were given The fee is costly and not affordable

Campus Life

The overall campus experience is good Although the infrastructure of campus is old but they are maintaining it The tech fest held at BIT Durg is OJAS it is one of the biggest tech fest in chhattisgarh Sports events happen actively and club participation are active

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility are given but are not good infact it's bad with respect to the fee taken The hostel food is also bad and needs improvement Hostel registration happened the same day as admission Hostels are well equipped with high speed Wi-Fi but they also have technical issues

All courses are NBA Accredited And the college itself is NAAC 'A' rated Admission were taken directly from CGPET and JEE Mains The admission process was decent The admission fee taken was 500 rupee Seats were reserved for SC ST and OBC

BIT DURG a 3.5/5 college

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

From 7th semester we can sit in interviews but the companies are far too less, like in last year only 6 companies came to campus at all, with an average package of ?3,00,000 and about 15 students got placed from Entire BTech, like 15 out of 500 students that too for sales roles

It's a great college for engineering as well as commercial

Remarks:

As I've mentioned above the management is worse but the teaching system is good. The director is a piece of shit a bald cunt. He did not even know what he was doing. He was a non cooperative asshole. All he did was snoooe around in classes and intimidated teachers. All in one it is a good college to tak admission in.

This is a reputed college in Chhattisgarh, and maybe that's why I chose this college. One can get into it by giving either JEE Mains or CGPET. Cut-off for JEE Mains isn't really high here, 75 percentile can easily land you here with computer science branch. I don't really know much about the JEE Mains cut-off.
