Courses are NBA accredited and the college itself is NAAC 'A' graded The curriculum is tough but compared to other colleges the curriculum is well arranged and is maintained according to current requirement Exam held here are medium level

Internships Opportunities

Internships here are not much good Students can apply for internships after 3rd semester but most internships received are unpaid some of them even costs money This year student got internship at Google at 1.5L stipend per month

Placement Experience

The campus placement is not so good The average package was 4LPA And the highest package is 10LPA The college is well known but still the campus placements are bad Faculties motivates students for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee for 1st semester is Rs. 40000 The hostel fee for 1st semester is Rs. 40000 The hostel after 2nd semester is Rs. 35000 No scholarships or financial aids were given to students The tution fee was Rs. 27000

Overall campus experience is decent The tech fest held here is OJAS it's the biggest tech fest in chhattisgarh Students actively participate in clubs Sports event are also present here Almost all books are present in the campus library

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are given but are not good compared to the fee charged The meals provided are not good it's just edible Hostel registration took place the same day when on spot admission process took place

Admissions were taken directly from CGPET and JEE Mains and counseling process was done under CGDTE Admission process was done properly College application form fee was Rs. 500/- Seat were reserved for SC ST and OBC

BIT DURG a 3.5/5 college

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

From 7th semester we can sit in interviews but the companies are far too less, like in last year only 6 companies came to campus at all, with an average package of ?3,00,000 and about 15 students got placed from Entire BTech, like 15 out of 500 students that too for sales roles

It's a great college for engineering as well as commercial

Remarks:

As I've mentioned above the management is worse but the teaching system is good. The director is a piece of shit a bald cunt. He did not even know what he was doing. He was a non cooperative asshole. All he did was snoooe around in classes and intimidated teachers. All in one it is a good college to tak admission in.

Honest Review of BIT Durg by a student

This is a reputed college in Chhattisgarh, and maybe that's why I chose this college. One can get into it by giving either JEE Mains or CGPET. Cut-off for JEE Mains isn't really high here, 75 percentile can easily land you here with computer science branch. I don't really know much about the JEE Mains cut-off.
