Best Teaching Faculty!

Overall college is good. Faculty members are best. Teaching is one of the main to study in this college. But hostel facilities should be improved like wifi, washing machine should be provided. Anyways, it's worth to study here in DBIT.

I took Comedk and I scored 82. They alloted me this college in first round and I went to see the college. I talked to all faculty members they're good. So I really liked that and decided to study here

Course is provided by VTU. Almost more than 200 colleges are under VTU so studying VTU syllabus is tough yet worthy. VTU has a very vast course variation since years. It's been largely improved and many new useful contents I've been added since back then. Amongst that first year has to study physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects.

Nope, it doesn't provide any internships. As per my knowledge Don Bosco institute doesn't provide any internships to any students till now but yes if you're interested to intern you can freely to that

Many companies do visit every year. It's up to us to grab such opportunities. HP, INTEL, LNT companies provide decent packages up to 10LPA. One company comes every year Silver global technologies which placed around 40 students with a whopping package of 24LPA. And many other companies do visit with small packages too with 3-5Lpa.

Many events are celebrated here. One of the main events are Vismay, kannada rajya Utsav, Science day, Tech day and followed by more other technical and social events. This all events are organized by both students /faculty members to create enthusiasm among students and make their talents show on stage

Fee structure for hostel students 2.5L per year. But it's 80k - 85k for localites. For hostelites it's up to us how we spend money so no point for extra money spend. You can save /spend money as per your needs. For localites there's no question for money as they stay here so they can spend their parents money as per their permission

I don't think so they avail any scholarships. As per my knowledge Don Bosco institute of technology hasn't provided any scholarships but surely they give permissions for study loans and you can avail that benefit from accounts department.

Gender ratio is like 60-40, so yep there's not much gender problem here. Campus life is best. Greenery and all fresh air energizes you to do creative things and boosts your inner talent to do various things. Sports, debates, robotics are also organized here to inculcate enthusiasm among students. It's very well organized and I bet you willingness enjoy all this.

Hostel food is pretty much nutritious but tastes some what okay. It's every well prepared and they serve meals 4 times a day and 3 times non veg in week. So yep it's good compared to bother hostels. They provide egg curry on Wednesday and normal meal contains Dal, rice, pickle, pappad, sabzi of two varieties and Buttermilk. Sunday lunch we get Chicken biryani.

Seniors are very kind, soft hearted and helpful. They'll help you to face odds and share their experiences, you can freely talk to them and share your problems. Yes they're indeed very useful!

Exam structure varies every year. But don't worry lab exams ain't hectic it's easy. There will be 3 internals every month as per VTU schedule and one sem in 5 months which includes pre-lab exams for preparation. And external lab exams too. Mostly internal ends in 2 days of span and external last 15-16 days.

Exam form was out in month of December online. And we got pretty good months to prepare for Comedk exams. And Hall ticket was provided few Days before and exam was conducted in month of May. And results were out in month ending. College form started out in month of June.

College faculty is the best. I mean old and experienced teachers. Will help you and make your life better. Best teaching faculty is of CS and Mechanical. Labs are well maintained and attendant will also help you. Teachers will prepare you very welll for lab exams as labs are 2 times in a well and monthly test will give you confidence to do better.
