Likes

The campus is lush green and teachers here are very well qualified and friendly.
The college has well equipped laboratories.

Dislikes

Fests are not very big and interesting. Major focus is only on studies.
First year students are not eligible for participation in sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum of Bhilai Institute of Technology is very easy to understand and relevant. Regular CTs and Semester exams are held to check knowledge of students. All facilities are supportive. Seniors are also very good.

Internships Opportunities

Various intership opportunities are offered in our college. Teachers are also super supportive. The training and placement cell is very active and helpful. Although there aren't many internships offered, for most of them you'd need to search for yoursellf, but the seniors would surely help you along the way. That's all.

Placement Experience

Placements are offered in our college and the average placement varies from 5 to 6 LPA. The highest package this year was 8 LPA on campus and 17 LPA off campus. Various big companies such as TCS, Accenture, Wipro visit our college for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of Bhilai Institute of Technology is 40000 for every semester and 40000 for hostel for 1st year and then 35000. College also provide courses for BBA and MBA. Hostel does not provide coolers in room , we have to purchase it

Campus Life

Our campus is not much big but it is arranged and clean and fully maintained with library, 1st year hostel provide warden and guards , Seniors hostel do not have guards in them neither do they have boundaries.

Hostel Facilities

Rate of placement in Bhilai Institute of Technology , Durg is not much better but has an average placement package of 5 Lakh per annum in computer science and engineering department other then that department we do not

Admission

The admission in this college ( Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT) , Durg ) is very easy and you can easily get enroll through CGPET or JEE Mains scorecard and it is very easy to get admission in it.

BIT DURG a 3.5/5 college

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we can sit in interviews but the companies are far too less, like in last year only 6 companies came to campus at all, with an average package of ?3,00,000 and about 15 students got placed from Entire BTech, like 15 out of 500 students that too for sales roles

There are decent faculties in college passed out from different NIT's and IITs. And who has a good experience in teaching. In Engineering we have 8 semesters in 4 years of B. tech courses.

It's a great college for engineering as well as commercial

Remarks:

As I've mentioned above the management is worse but the teaching system is good. The director is a piece of shit a bald cunt. He did not even know what he was doing. He was a non cooperative asshole. All he did was snoooe around in classes and intimidated teachers. All in one it is a good college to tak admission in.

Honest Review of BIT Durg by a student

This is a reputed college in Chhattisgarh, and maybe that's why I chose this college. One can get into it by giving either JEE Mains or CGPET.
