Likes

The attendance policy of dseu is quite relaxing
The professors are quite helpful and have good hold on the topics
The seniors are quite supportive, they help me out whenever I'm in trouble

Dislikes

The infrastructure is really poor like even the CCTV cameras don't work properly
The toilets are not good , not even usable
The library is very small , my school had bigger Library than this

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is mechatronics, which is offered by a very few government colleges in india , it is a quite futuristic branch where you learn about AI and robotics . Even though it has alot of potential still many people are unaware of this branch and underestimate it and I agree that the quality of teaching is also not that great , so definitely it requires a lot of development in that area.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 126000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees is quite affordable and if anyone belongs to economically weaker section or has any sort of reservation then you get scholarship my complete cost of education would be somewhere around 600k or 700k

Campus Life

The campus life is really poor ,rarely any techfest or any cultural festival takes place , the ground is really small you can't even play volleyball properly over there , yes there a few clubs which conduct few competitions but even they are not that satisfactory

Admission

JEE mains was the entrance exam in my scenario , I took admission in it through jac Delhi spot round because my rank was somewhere around 310k , JEE mains of my shift was quite difficult as compared to others my percentile was 72.7 the admission process was quite smooth and if you have any sort of reservation you can get even into top colleges like DTU or NSUT.

Insights of my college

Placement Experience:

Student got internship opportunities after 3rd year. Many companies like microsoft, IEEE , Agro Robotics. Average package is about 4-5 lakhs when this college was polytechnic now upgraded to degree college so this year got a idea about highest package. The percentage of placement is I think 80 percent. I am planning after getting degree i want to get placed in a good MNC company and want to serve for the betterment of society in field of technology and Artificial intelligence

The Hidden Truth of NSUT

Placement Experience:

Talking about NSUT, it is one of the best in terms of placement. Almost every company you may think of that costs IIT Delhi also visits NSUT. NSUT has a great placement stats in tech, non tech and in core as well. In tech , you may think of Amazon , Flipkart , google , Microsoft and all the big companies do visit the campus The eligibility for on campus placements purely depends upon the CGPA. So it is really important to maintain a good GPA throughout the course. Students become eligible for placements after the 6th sem only. To check the stats of the company visited and the offers made to each branch , you may visit the TNP website of our college NSUT. 80-90% students were placed from our college in the last placement session. For consultancy and non tech, companies like Deshaw, Bain, TCS,McKinsey etc do visit the campus. The highest package almost goes above a Crore per annum in most of the years , while the avg is around 10LPA, while the median is around 7-8LPA.

Placement Experience:

from end 6th semester companies start coming to our college and placing students around 200-250 companies visit our college every year for placements varying from different roles and and different branches last year 82lpa was the highest package in my college around 70% students get placed every year ill get a job and start working

GENUINE VERDICT OF COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

After 6 semesters you are eligible for campus placements and after 4 or 5 semester you are eligible for internship opportunities there shall be companies that visit it or campus Google Microsoft Samsung and many more Adobe also I don't know the proper way sorry the highest package is of 1.82 crores. The percentage of students getting placement is about 80 to 82% after getting the degree I would first do a job for 4 to 5 year and and earn some money and then with my friends I got plan for a startup

Cheap college but don't expect much

Easier to apply to. Only applied for this one and got it. No, didn't get rejected anywhere. Admission is for all, just have to get good marks on CET exam. Not sure about the cutoffs but you go through rounds of selection from the courses you picked....Read More
