My first semester in this institutek

The course curriculum focuses strongly on logical reasoning and problem solving. Teaching faculties makes sure that the curriculum contains what students needs to know about their courses. The course curriculum in terms of difficulty, isn't difficult at all, sure enough some subjects do need additional preparation for them.

Several companis hire intern from this institute. Since I am not sure on how many companis visit here for intern, I cannot answer, but students do look for internships off campus. Their pay varies around 20,000 to 50,000 rs per month, on campus internship offer various project for interns to work on their respective engineering fields.

The placements are very limited and the return of investment here isn't any good here. The average package is 4 LPA and highest goes to 6LPA. Students here are eligible for placements at their end of 5th semester. About 40 to 50 percent of students gets placed here every year. My personel plan is to focus on my career growth and enjoy every moment of it.

The fee structure changes every year, for this year it is about 40,000 rs per semester. Scholarships are available for students in special cases for financial aid. Other than semester fees an additional admission fee of 500 rs is asked to deposit beforehand. Campus has a lush green enviornment to it, has well equipped classrooms and labs, a great variety of birds can be seen in this campus, etc.

Clubs will be open to students after their 1st year of academic year. This institute hosts various events throughout the year along with OJAS, the most popular fest of BIT durg. The classrooms are well equipped with lights and fans (non air-conditioned), large in size and each holds a capacity of 60 students. The laboratories are well equipped with equipments in good condition, A Central library for students, Sports complex, An auditorium for events and meetings. My overall exprience has been great till now.

Hostel rooms contains enough space for 3 persons in each room, Has options for a common washroom or a private washroom in some rooms. The mess here provides good quality of food but the menu gets repeated every week and is VEG only mess. Hostel rooms have limited seats to it, so late comers may not get a room. The fees for Hostel is about 40,000 rs per semester which includes mess fees and residency fees. An ammount of 2000 rs needs to be paid as caution money at the time of registration. The locality is isolated by walls around it for safety reasons.

For the admission process, a person needs to appear for JEE mains and CGPET entrance examinations which makes him/her elligible to secure a seat in this institute. The counselling is done by their CGPET rankings and can appear for 3 rounds of counselling. The cut-off isn't much of an issue. The thing I didn't like was them priotising admission of students of Chattisgarh, after then the other state students gets admission in the remainning seats
