Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am currently Pursuing Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and the reason for choosing this course is my Interest. I was already interested in CSE and seeing the rise in AI, it felt like the right choice. The curriculum offered is very well updated and keeps up with the real world. It offers well equipped workshops and laboratories for the Practicals. The faculty is AWESOME. They are very helpful and very well Experienced and Qualified. They won't leave a single student behind and clear each and every doubt. There are 3 exams held every semester. 2 class Tests and 1 End Sem Examination. The difficulty level is Moderate. Not very challenging but challenging enough to keep your brain thinking.

Placement Experience

2.5

The college does provide with On-Campus placements and you can also go for Off-Campus placements. There are a number of companies which come for visit and make offers like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Cubelelo etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for each semester is around ?40,000. It consists of the Tuition fees, Maintenance fees, sports fees and miscellaneous fees. The college itself doesn't provide any scholarships but does provide assistance and has a reserved office for all the financial assistance.

Campus Life

4

Academic wise, my experience has been EXCELLENT! As mentioned earlier, the faculty is great! The people here are very friendly and social. There are many clubs available for the students to join and participate, events are regularly held and the clubs are very active. Although the only drawback is that first year students are not able to join the clubs, the reason is I assume that it is to give students time to get some experience and develop skills good enough to be able to join in the next year. The infrastructure is very simple and lush green.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel is only good enough. Not so great, I would recommend you opt for a PG or rent a flat elsewhere. The hostel room is well lit and comes equipped with a ceiling fan. There are 2 variations, One where there are common bathrooms for 10 rooms and second where ghe Rooms come with Attached bathroom. The attached ones are great. The mess is alright. Not very good but good enough and has good variations.

Admission

There are two ways for getting admission into this college: Either with your JEE score or CGPET score. Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CGPET) is an Entrance examination conducted in the State of Chhattisgarh to get into Engineering colleges. Via this entrance exam you can get into GECs like GEC Raipur, GEC Bilaspur, GEC Jagdalpur and private institutions like BIT Durg, Rungta, Shree Shankaracharya institute and many more. I got into this college with my CGPET score. It is conducted by CGVYAPAM and you can get further details from their website (though it needs improvements). There are reservations available. Also there is state quota, so if you're from Chhattisgarh you have a higher chance of getting into these colleges. The examination was not very difficult per say, if you're already preparing for JEE then this would feel very easy. That's all.

Placement Experience:

We can do internships after 1st year and 2nd but for the placement it's in 4th year. The training and placement cell of the college has work consistently to bring reputated companies like a TCS Wipro Infosys LNT Infotech etc. the medium package for uses students is like 4 lakh per annum and PG students was about 4 to 5 lakh per annum. However when compared with some of the top tile institutions the package levels and placement percentage highlight the student themselves me to bridge through internship of campus drive and additional certifications. Another noticeable trend is that placements 10 to be more favourable for the branches like computer science and information technology where are School branches of an face lower absorption rates which is common in many engineering colleges. But here off campus placement are really good

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

Course curriculum is very outdated and here the facilities more practical and they believe that if you want you can do other field like non-technical fields and something like government exam. There course or syllabus is not industrial ready.

Placement Experience:

Internship for the third and final year students, but not paid mostly. Placements are very few, don't expect placement from any government college in Chhattisgarh. Work on your skill. Companies like Adani came for placement for Mtech mining students. Highest package is of 3.5 lpa, He works in Bangalore. Other students do master. I am working in my skills and I will try for off campus placement or I will go abroad for master or job.

Remarks:

The college was established in 2009 and is therefore still growing. The staff and facilities are working very hard to create exceptions and achievements. As the college is comparatively new from others. Therefore, more hard work can be seen in the part of faculties. This gives students studying now a great advantage to learn and gain more.
