Course Curriculum Overview
U will find the best teachers in this University. The vibe between teachers and students are very friendly. Although the marking system is little bit strict but the teacher takes classes regularly which makes us to understand the concept thoroughly
Placement Experience
When u r in final year, placement in the university get started. 3-4 LPA was the avg salary and companies like Accenture, Jaro, different internship program also came to University Many students gets NET JRF guidance for free also
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is very less compared to all other universities. The admission fees is only 2100rs and 200rs for every semester fees for non practical subjects. There are multiple scholarship for students and the admin section is very helpful regarding scholarship for students. And Ravenshaw University is the only govt University which provides decent placement for all the students.
Campus Life
The vibe of this Ravenshaw University is itself joyous and cheerful everytime. Every month there is some function or celebration is going on like seminars, literature festival, games and sports, pujas etc The kanika Library is the best of its kind. Every type of magazine is there in the library and there is this e- resources which gives u access to different journals for free to all the students.
Hostel Facilities
There are 6 hostel for girls and 7 hostel for boys which is very good. Food quality is normal and the total admission fees for hostel will be 10000 yearly and 1500 as an average for the mess fees, readmission fees might be different from admission fees. And if someone don't get hostel they can easily live in private mess in college square.
Admission
For doing PG in economics, you must be graduated in economics as ur major subject. All the details will be available in SAMS portal. All State govt college or university in odisha follow SAMS portal for its admission process. For PG, you have to give an entrance exam called CPET. The level of questions are not too difficult, by following ur graduation books thoroughly will be enough. To get into Ravenshaw University, u must be under 100 rank if u r in general category.
