- The college has a rigourous academic curriculum with latest thing in the world as the core.
- The students here are highly competetive and focused.It pushes you to do better.
- Hostels are the fun part of it and also the facilities with it like gym,swimming pool and indoor games.
Dislikes
- The college isnt that big due to which there arent ground for outdoor sports.
- There is no night canteen and 24 7 library.
- 75 % attendance criteria makes it more difficult for us to focus on other things.
Course Curriculum Overview
Although I wanted to take cse but because of cutoff being just low I had to take ece which is also not a bad branch to take in jiit. JIIT is very academic based so it trys to give real world problem and its solution by giving research projects. like other colleges faculty are also quite mixed ,some are good and some are not.But the different part is the one arent that good are the ones who just arent able to teach .If we go and talk to them they have different insights of the industry and will tell you that so that can help us in future.
Internships Opportunities
there are differnt internship companies with the college which give you different options to take part in internship .The internship of goldman sachs was the one i gave and that was given to everyone in the college and many students qualified for it.
Placement Experience
from 7 th semester students become eligible for placements although college helps in getting internships early on in the college so not a proble with that.Companies do come to Jiit very often .The placements are quite good compared to other private colleges as lesser mass recruiters and more of the top companies with higher package come. most of the students get placed mostly in tech side .
Fees and Financial Aid
here the fee structure changes with every semester with a hike of around 10 percent.some scholarships are their but those are not providex by the college they are mostly scholarships given by the UP state government.
Campus Life
As the course is so hectic and the students are very competetive ,so there is very less time to be take part in clubs.although the clubs work pretty well.Most of the tech clubs are given top tier and they will inform not only the members but everyone in the college about the upcoming events and opportunities in the tech world. because of the location of the college it is accesible to go different places and have fun.
Hostel Facilities
great hostel and also well maintained although we have to order things at night as there is no night canteen .H3 for first year students was a vibe and fun to live in.The hostel now we live in is a 20 storey building with gym and indoor game facilities.I live in the 18th floor and the view from here on a clear day is quite good.wifi is good ,with few connection issues sometimes.wardens are also friendly.
Admission
My admission procss was quite simple as i joined the college with my board results .So as per your board results the college gives around half of the total no. of seats to the board students.the appliction was also quite easy as it was done in te college website.
