i chose to pursue computer engineering due to its high demand in the industry and the prospect of securing a lucrative salary ,as computer?IT graduates tend to receive the highest packages >the student-to-faculty ratio is 60:1 with well qualified instructors,although tecahing methods vary in effectiveness.

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

The MHTCET conduct exam for colleges in maharashtra for Engineering. It had 3 round for college selection if you got college in first round it had option for freeze or betterment. Aplications dates are given on the MHTCET weebsite itself. It conduct every year for beast colleges in Maharashtra.
