Course Curriculum Overview

I chose mechanical engineering as I had keen interest in this field. Also the faculty in mechanical engineering department are all from premier institutes of India as well as abroad. The teaching method of the faculties is quite understandable. Talking about the exam pattern there are 2 semester in 1yr and each semester consists of 2 exams: mid term(30marks)and end term(50marks) remaining 20marks from internals. The difficulty of the exams is moderate.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are also offered to 3rd year students , who worked really hard. Some internships are also paid , and the students can earn around 30-40k monthly Many students also work in projects which have to be submitted at the year end

Placement Experience

4th year student are eligible for placements. Many big companies visit campus for the placements. Highest package this year was 64lpa Average package is around 20 25lpa Almost 75-80% students are placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

You require a min. 8lakhs to max. 10lakhs for a btech course. There are financial assistance provided through scholarships based on merit. Jobs are also pretty decent with a highest package of 64lakhs

Campus Life

The campus life is the best part throughout your 4 year btech course as you get to learn a lot from participating in events . There are generally 2 big fest held one is the SPHINX (technical fest) and the other blitzschlag(cultural ). There are almost 2 to 3 lakh books in the library of the college. The classroom are equipped with projectors and proper positioned white boards which enhance the teaching experience. Sports are also a major part of the college as there is almost every sport amenities in the college from table tennis to football and cricket grounds. There are almost 10-15 clubs run by students in the college. All are active clubs and events take place occasionally in the clubs.Some popular clubs include Think India , ED CELL , Zine club

Hostel Facilities

For the 1st year there is a 3 person sharing room and after that personal room is provided . The rooms are well maintained and ventilated. The mess food quality is decent but not up to the mark. The hostel care taker is very helpful in any emergency

Hostel Fee: INR 32000 per year

Admission

The admission process was quite smooth. You need to clear the jee mains exam for admission in this college and get a decent percentile above 95%ile. Application form is generally mailed to you by the college after seat allocation through josaa counselling.There are reservation benefits which includes fees reduction. But original documents are required.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

Life at MNIT Jaipur

MNIT stood out for its national ranking, active campus life, and better research opportunities compared to the state colleges. The admission process is through JEE Main and JoSAA counselling—cutoffs for CSE are usually under 10,000 AIR, while other branches have higher cutoffs. Adventurous Journey

MNIT is among the best NITs of Northern India further it possesses a highly strong mechanical in civil departments which is regarded to be the strongest one after IIT Roorkee in Northern India to be admitted into MNIT you need to clear JEE Mains examination with a minimum 97% tile for the general category further than you need to apply for JOSAA and C-SAB consuelling to admit into MNIT. I have also taken admission in NIT Allahabad mechanical engineering but I wasn't able to get it since that closed 1000 above my rank, it is mentioned that they have a very good mechanical department as well. MNIT Jaipur also had had a great infrastructure to look out and also give frequent industrial visits to enhance practical knowledge....Read More

I applied for this based on nirf rankings and actually I was wishing to get this college, I was trying for nit Rourkela, nit Trichy but because of my ranking i wasn't able to get a seat in those colleges and as in my choice filling after those 2 colleges , I had filled mnit Jaipur as 3rd preference and my rank was good enough to secure a seat in this college Admission process is to write jee barch exam and apply for josaa counselling by filling your choices and wait for rounds to get your seat , once you get any seat in choices you'll be allowed to accept that seat or freeze that seat and move to next round for better college in your choices...Read More
