ALL ABOUT VU PUNE

My course is Btech CSE (AI&ML). Our's is the second batch in this university. The Faculty membefs are well qualified. some have done Ph.D, and masters. In our university the pactical based teaching method is practised. The term exams are moderate level, also inernal exams are taken every month.

Internships are offered to the students from fifth semester and many companies mentioned before provide internships. There are many project based internships offered in collaboration with IBM and TCS. The Internships are both paid and unpaid.

Students are eligible for campus placements from sixth semester. There is a seperate placement cell of University. Companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, IBM, TCS, Amazon, Cognizant, Cybage Software, Byju's, HSBC, Accenture, Swiggy, etc. visit for placements. The average placements percentage is 91%. The average package is lpa and the highesr package offered in 2023 is 12.5 LPA. VU has a network of more than 400 recruiters.

The yearly fees for Btech CSE courses is 310000. The entire course fees is 1240000. There is no scholarship offered to the students, and also no financial assistance. There are some campus jobs available to the students interested.

There is the annual fest conducted for freshers at the start of the year named Aarambh. Also every year a tech fest is conducted named HACATHON for all the students of university and also for different colleges. There are 2-3 libraries which contain books of all topics. There are projectors in each classrooms. Sports competitions are arrenged frequently.

There are many PG near the university. Also there is the university hostel. There is a bed, cubboard, table, chair etc. to each student. Meal is offered three times a day and the quality is good. Hosel fees is 105000 yearly. The PG near university cost 50000 to 70000 yearly excluding meal.

The Admission process is as follows: The Candidate should qualify any entrance exam (JEE MAINS, MHT CET, PERA CET, etc.) with non-zero score. If not appeared for above exams the university takes the VU NET exam for admission. The application form is availabee on the official website of the University. There is no reservation benefit.
