Patient inload of hospital.More exposure clinically
And it is located in vizag city..which itself is so beautiful
It is the most preferred college in our state

Dislikes

Sanitation is not upto mark..Roads and basic infrastructure is not good
Patient inload is very high..I think the facilities available can't meet their needs
Way of teaching is also not upto the mark..

I am interested in medicine.So I have choosen this course.Strength of students is 250 per batch.Faculty members varies as 19subjects will be there in MBBS.Faculty to student ratio is good.Qualification is who have completed their PG.Teaching method is not upto mark.Exams are conducted once a year.In between 3internal exams are conducted

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of college are low only 10k per year. But the hostel fee is 25k per 6 months. Books are also very expensive in mbbs. I did not get any scholarship or financial assistance. After completion of 4 years ee will be working as an intern In our college hospital. They will give a stipend of 20k per month

Campus Life

Festa is conducted every year. They are usually conducted in month of August for nearly 2 weeks. In between ladies' and men's hostel week is also conducted. Books are available in the Library. Basic class amenities are present not so good. The ground is available in the men's hostel. Those who are interested can go there and play.

Admission

It was through neet ug exam.Admission through state councelling.I did not avail any reservation benefit.Details of admission of this college are available in college website.Eligibility is completion of class 12th and get above cut off marks in neet ug exam

The life of a medico in a government medical college

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

1}the specific aspect that influenced my decision are my parent and relatives who hold the social stigma of being a doctor can give a secured life whereas nowadays doctor is one of the most vulnerable profession due to the incidents that are happening recently 2}the cirriculum is not great for students when it comes to the topic of facing real world situations as being in pvt.college doesnt exopse us to vasr amount of patients and mostly the graduates dont know how to deal with patients 3}the areas that should need an improvement is in imrpoving dissection hall facilities and posting lessers members in a sysytematic way to give time for each and every student a better exposure to the patients 4}the frequency of exams is adequate enough for an above avg student to cope up with the burdensome and vast syllabus but it might be diffucult for a below avg student and my perspective of the difficulty level is somewhat tough and stressful

Placement Experience:

we have to visit our hospital from 1st year of college, and we start interacting with patients from 1st year onwards, up to 4th year we are practicing in our college and after that, we have to do an internship in our hospital only all qualified students which pass all the prof exams can do the internship, after the internship I will go for higher studies.

I was remarked that AMC is best college to study clinics. This is the first college I got selected and since I want to join here I didn't applied for other colleges.
