Remarks

overall the college is average because there are certain things it should improve like sports ground and management

Entrance Preview

I gave an exam conducted by the college and along with it an interview. I completed my graduation in biotechnology, so I was looking for a college which has M.sc biotechnology.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

the course structure is very good. Because it covers all the important parts of biotechnology. it concludes enzymology, immunology, life sciences, biochemistry, molecular bio etc. all the topics consist of practicals. so we could research it and know more.

Internships Opportunities

there are certain companies come to the campus like Ranbaxy, dr. reddy, Tech Mahindra, sonata etc. I don't know much about the stipend.

Placement Experience

4

the placement for this college is very good because every year, a handful of companies come to the campus. the companies like dr. reddy, Ranbaxy, Tech Mahindra, sonata, Bajaj etc .come to the college campus and organize interviews and candidates are selected based on the interview. those companies offer around 3-5 lakh per annum packages which I think is very good as a fresher.

College Events

4.5

the college conducts so many festivals like the other colleges like sports day, annual day, graduation day, ethnic day and environment day etc. the sports day consists of 3 days. various sports are conducted and in the last day, the winners are announced. the graduation day and annual function day is bigger than anything.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure is quite less than the other colleges. for each semester, the tutorial fees are 25000 which is less comparing other colleges. for a hostel, 5000 is the fee for every month. along with it, there is a one time fee for the library, sports, lab etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

there are certain scholarships available for eligible students. for minority categories and sc/st students, there are certain specific scholarships available too. along with it, there are other scholarships also.

Campus Life

3

the gender ratio is around 55-45% of boys and girls. the campus life is very good and healthy. there is no reading at all in the campus. there is no politics at all in the campus. the labs are very good and the library is vast. the college conducts certain workshops and events and cultural events also.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

the hostel standard is not that high. the main problem is you have to share a room with other students. the quality is good but mostly the foods are south Indian. if you are a north Indian, you will find it difficult. they gave 3-time meal breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Alumni/Alumna

the senior students are really helpful. they help in notes, practicals and other activities. they don't do ragging at all.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is not that good because you get only 1-day gap between every exam. so, you aren't quite prepared well for every exam. But the overall thing is good because practical exams are held after a week of theory exam. in the lab, you won't feel hectic because it is properly ventilated.

Admission

after the test, i got selected. then 15 days later, i got an admission letter . Then i came to the college campus directly. Talked with the director and principal. after that i paid the fees and submitted my certificates for verification. after a week, i got a joining letter . then after few days , i joined the college.the administration faculties are really helpful regarding any issues.

Faculty

4.5

there are around 10 teachers for life science department and 5 lab faculties. the teachers are highly qualified and the standard of teaching is very good. for every subject, there are different faculties. the faculties are really helpful regarding the study and other research activities. the lab assistants are also very generous towards the students.
