Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course this course for it has a great space to work at goverment and privet sectors. In college facluty members are about 58 and as compare to students are total about 750. Faculty are very well .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 440000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In not very well paid companies are came . But the medium companies are like travis tech , inceptial , basseti india privet limited came to our college and gave a opputunity of internship of 6 months with stipend.

In our colllege students are get started their preparation from 3 rd year to get job oppurtunities . In our college not much company are come but we can try it on off campus . In our college 50-60% student got placement .

Fees and Financial Aid

In my college the fees structure of computer science and engineering is about 440000,in electronics and comunication bruch fees is 297500, in mechanical brunch 275000, in civil brunch 275500,in electical brunch 290000. College don't gave any scholarship but if you get above 60% you can apply SVMC

Campus Life

In our college there is take place a fest GMERZ, But no any techfest held here. Yes our college have librarey in a average size. In librery there are many books and novelsavailable. Classroom are not so big but as capable for 60 students.

Hostel Facilities

In my openion my bruch's faculty are well experienced they are provide us the much importent thing to prepare ourself to get a job. Sometimes they are friendly in manner , In hostel meal quality not so good.

Hostel Fee: INR 54000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the course after passing 10th and 12th board exam with 60% numbers. I found this application from WBJEE on 23/11/2021. After attending the exam i got this from councilling . yes reserveation benifits are available.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

Our college campus is fully green campus. All teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. All the classrooms are well groomed. Library is very good. All types of books are available in our library. Semester fees is comfortable for all types of students. Admission process is very easy. All types of scholarship are available for all students. Laboratories are decorated by updated instruments. Gym is available in our college. Playground is very clean. Many outdoor games (like: Football, Cricket, badminton etc.) and indoor games (like: chess, caram etc.) are available in our campus. 24Ã—7 hours electricity and water are available.
