Course Curriculum Overview

I preferred this course to get a job in an IT company.There is one teacher behind every ten students.Every teacher is well qualified and they teaches us very well.Semester exam is held every six months and it is difficult to pass the exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placement from seventh semester onwards.TCS wipro, bassetti, companies are come to our college.The highest package of our college is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA.40% students get placement in our college.After passing college, I want to get a job in a big company with a good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college there are six different branches like that computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, computer science and business system, electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering.In cse stream average cost of study is 393000 rupees.In Our college has good facilities of SVMCM and OASIS.Our minimum package of our college is three lakhs.

Campus Life

Cultural fest is held in our college and it takes place between February and March.Our college has a large library and a wide variety of books are available here.Various sports are played in our college like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, carrom, Chess, Badminton, Table Tennis etc.There is no such social group in our college.

Admission

To get admission in our college we need to pass higher secondary examination.I found the application form, application fee and application date from the college's own website.The college has special facilities for admission of sc,st.In the admission process I don't want to see any improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

There are good placements but the placements are not up to mark. All comanies are not highly interested in hiring Specially Civil Engineering. Company should give better offers to students of NITs also.. lower packages are not accepatable

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

I feel proud being a student of Gmit

Our college campus is fully green campus. All teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. All the classrooms are well groomed. Library is very good. All types of books are available in our library. Semester fees is comfortable for all types of students. Admission process is very easy. All types of scholarship are available for all students. Laboratories are decorated by updated instruments. Gym is available in our college. Playground is very clean. Many outdoor games (like: Football, Cricket, badminton etc.) and indoor games (like: chess, caram etc.) are available in our campus. 24Ã—7 hours electricity and water are available.
