The college has the facility of canteen.

There is no wifi facility in the campus.
College have mane lab bt lab instruments not good working.
The playground in our college is very small, where one cannot play properly.

Course Curriculum Overview

My childhood dream was to study computer science. One faculty mamber is available for every 10 students. Every faculty members are very qualified and they teachers very responsibility. Every year there are two semesters, even and odd semester, which are very difficult.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th semesters students become eligible for campus placement. TCS , Airtel, Wipro , PWC , BSNL , Basiti , Amazon etc. Visited in our college campus. The highest package is 12 lakh and the average package is 6 lakh. 75% students getting placements. I want to get a good salary job after finishing college.

Fees and Financial Aid

6 different departments computer science engineering , electronics and communication engineering , computer science and business system, mechanical engineering , civil engineering and electrical engineering. In computer science cost 393000. There are scholarship name svmcm is available for every student.There are no financial Assistance.

Campus Life

College organised fest, freshers in the early month of the year. There have big library. Our college has many smart classrooms and every room have ac facilities. Our college organised Dkb football tournament , cricket, vollyball, dance program, drama program etc.

Admission

All students must be pass in 12th standard in any board. For application form, application fees and application dates visit college website. For sc , st students you can easily enter in this college . I see the improvement in our college too improve their accounts basic process.

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

I feel proud being a student of Gmit

Our college campus is fully green campus. All teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. All the classrooms are well groomed. Library is very good. All types of books are available in our library. Semester fees is comfortable for all types of students. Admission process is very easy. All types of scholarship are available for all students. Laboratories are decorated by updated instruments. Gym is available in our college. Playground is very clean. Many outdoor games (like: Football, Cricket, badminton etc.) and indoor games (like: chess, caram etc.) are available in our campus. 24Ã—7 hours electricity and water are available.
