Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty to student ratio is 1:12. The faculty teaching are professors, associate and assistant professors with pg's of corresponding subjects. The term exams are conducted once a year. Individual has to score a minimum of 50 % to pass the exam and the difficulty level is medium

Internships Opportunities

Internship is done in the same college after the completion of the course. The interns are guided by the post graduates and the professors. The internship comes with stipend of around 25000 per month.

Admission is according to ranking and corresponding reservations. The person with high rank according to their category is given priority. The exam is conducted by NMC. Any interested individual after completion of 12th standard with minimum age 17 is allowed to write the exam

Government medical college suryapet, a honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.

Good college regarding academics,but other than studies you won’t find enjoyment in this campus

I have choose this college as it is one of top 10 government medical colleges in telangana,and it is located near by my home town,which makes feel more comfortable. I have also applied for other top colleges like Kakatiya medical college,Esi medical college,Osmania medical colleges,but my rank was not enough to get admitted into those colleges. To get an admission here in this college,you have to apply for knruhs MBBS counseling,which is sole authority that conducts counseling in telangana, Counselling has 3 rounds,and i got admitted in 2nd round based on my merit,for each caste there is specific cut off mark, Overall the admission process goes smooth....Read More
